To make things short.
I wanna bug the company to launch their games with English texts and release them over Steam as it's actually good in order to get lots of sales and increase their pile of money.
Steam got 15+ millions users by now and if you are able to throw it on Steam I'm pretty sure people will buy it.
So does anyone have the email to the company that you need to send suggestions to in order for this to happen.
Also since no translation patch is in the work what I have read I kinda wanna get it some other way. I would get it the normal way if I had a PS2 or if they actually bothered to release it in USA/Europe with English texts.
Already played Ys: The Oath in Felghana and some of the old ones. I liked The oath in Felghana the most.

I don't think it's as easy as asking Falcom to release their games in English. For starters, I doubt they'll even understand the e-mail and may even confuse them instead. ^^
If anything, they'd probably look for an oversees distributor to handle the non-Japanese releases of their games, even with online downloads.
But hasn't Ys VI been released onto both PS2 AND PSP by Konami US? D:

Living in Sweden pretty much cut off certain games and specially these Japanese/korean games that ain't so famus. >.>
Well once I get a job I'm getting a PS3 and hope it will be able to play Ys series. But then again I will most likely get a FULL english one with english voices whenever they speak and I find that highly anoying.
I rather have Korean/Japanese voice with just English text as Capcom did in MMX8.
Also I'm not getting a PSP because imo it's a waste of money, the games doesn't look that good on it what I have seen and I would rather that the game devs spent their time putting those games on Consoles like PS2 or PS3. Yes I don't like 360 for various reason.

It wouldn't surprise me. Particularly with regard to Japanese voices, they seem to get removed quite a lot when games come out here. The first few Nippon Ichi games had them taken out, and for the original .hack series you had to finish the game to unlock them as opposed to having them available from the beginning. Don't know whose fault it is, but it might well apply too. Not that I buy UK games anymore anyway, so I couldn't say for sure. Much better off supporting the Japanese and American game industries rather than one where you usually don't get anything worthwhile, and when you do it's months late and horribly overpriced.
You wouldn't want the PSP version anyway to be honest - no one loves massively unplayable load times. Polygonal Adol is evil too, but better than not understanding it at all.

Every time when I can chose English or Japanese I pick Japanese due to that sound 90% of the time A LOT better. <.< Where as most English voice cast just sounds wrong. In almost anything except normal movies and cartoons...
