And here is the translation:
Once upon a time, there was a legendary country called Ys. Thanks to the twin goddesses and the six saints, this great country flourished. The goddesses had a precious treasure: The Black Pearl. It had mysterious powers. With magic, you could do miracles, With Cleria, you could amplify this magic power. Thanks to them, we thought the Ys power would live forever. But suddenly, a disaster struck Ys. A lot of demoniac monsters appeared and began to invade Ys. The diabolic forces destroyed the lands and all the inhabitants were forced to gather in the Salmon Temple. It looked like the end of the world. The Black Pearl saved Ys from disaster, raising the temple in the air. But immediately after this brief relief, the demons built another tower. And a cloud of winged monsters left towards the sanctuary. Ys threatened to fall ! Even worse, an unexpected event arrived in the Salmon Temple. What a story ! The twin goddesses, the Ys heirs, disappeared. In a desperate situation, the six saints took a resolution. To gather a research team, they made a selection between knights and sorcerers. Then, the saints sent them to the devastated land.

ha ha. Track 34 has a female choir that sounds just like the female choir in some of the music in Resident Evil Code Veronica. Track 16 has to be my favorite original song thus far. I'm very pleased with this soundtrack and I'm sure tied in with the game will make it even more enjoyable.

I downloaded the OGG files from #gamemp3s... I take it this is the audio pulled straight from the game disc, like in the past few PC releases? I haven't listened to any of it yet, and probably won't until I convert them to MP3s that my iPod can load.
It sounds more like Ys I&II Complete or Ys VI than YsF?

Some of it sounds really synth and others sound much more like real instruments. I cant complain, most of it is very enjoyable.

I suppose I have nothing to be concerned about. Even if it's not YsF calibur, "Falcom Rock" is almost inherently listen-able whatever the instrumentation. I'm just saddened at the 'step back' after experiencing the magnitude of the YsF soundtrack. I don't really expect ADDITIONAL remakes of Ys I&II along the lines of YsF, and YsO was probably the closest thing to it we'd get, musically speaking (quite a few Ys I & II song remakes, no?)

Wow, track 11 belongs in the 70's! I could totally hear Curtis Mayfield or maybe Barry White singing! I like it! Ok, 14 rocks, it sounds like either Yngwie or early Vinnie Moore. Ok, 18 is deffinitly Yngwie inspired!! Rock on, one of my favorite songs too! Though, most songs are

I'm really happy to see everyone is loving the music. I can't bring myself to listen to this soundtrack yet, so I'll just enjoy it in the game. After reading everyone's remarks I can't wait.

Don't have soundtrack... but "Movement of Wicked Energy" sounds like Dalles' theme from Eternal, "Over Drive".
