Has anyone done some kind of info page, describing all the various content of all Ys games? Like, what Emelas is, where do Galbalan's come from, etc? If someone has, I'd love to read it, if someone hasn't, I'd love someone knowledgable enough, to put it together. I would really love to see explanations of everything written down.

I was working on a Falcom wiki with Gillian Seed and a guy named strag0, but we sort of stopped working on it, hehe.

Well, no time like the present to start back up on it I think the main reason I thought about it, is because I have a friend, who's interested in the series, & there are several things I want to explain to him, but, I want the most accurate info possible

I know, but when I say accurate, I mean up until this point. Like what emelas is, what Galbalan's are, whatever info we have on the Eldeenian's, etc.

Like what emelas is, what Galbalan's are, whatever info we have on the Eldeenian's, etc. There's a lot of that stuff elaborated in that huge Complete Works of Ys book. It's a combo strategy guide for I-VI but has a ton of info trying to tie the events and things of all the Ys games together. Maybe get Deuce to translate the non-strategy guide portions. ;P Book in question.

Nah, that doesn't cover everything. I want something that lists everything in the games, in alphabetical order, & explains what they are, more like this:
Black Pearl-An Emel stone created by Eldeenians. One such stone was used in the land of Ys. However, because of the humans greed, it was misused, & almost destroyed Ys itself.
Demons/monsters-In Ys 1 & 2, they were formally humans. They however became greedy for the power of the Black Pearl, & became mishaped, & mutated in groteque monsters.
Eldeenians-A highly advanced technologically superior race of humanoid beings with wings. Blah blah blah

where did you find that the black pearl is made of emel and that the monsters were once humans?

Maybe we could set up a thread here where people could contribute information for the wiki or something like that? Also, if there's something specific you want information on, someone here probably knows all about it.

I know him in person/RL and he's been a friend of mine for years. Hopefully that project will pick up again one of these days. A collective elaborate depository of Ys/Falcom information would be quite nice to see. Good luck with that going forward. : ) -SkyeWelse

Ha ha, yeah. We laughed about the "coincidence" that we both knew who you were (he mentioned a Xak site and I asked "SkyeWelse's?"). Small world, we said.

Such an old post to revive, but I feel my reply is reasonable. The "Falcom wiki" that Seldane was talking about died with the computer it was on. At first it was a PSU issue, followed by an all out fire! Yes a Fire! The computer was in poor shape apparently (it was a handme down) and something went bad and the rest is history. So all was lost... all of the work Seldane and I put into it.
Never fear though! I got another machine and a new HDD and am willing to work on it again! This time for real! Ha, even though school is kicking my ass I want to put it up again and hope others help us out.
So if Seldane is up for it and anyone else for that matter, I'm going to throw a Linux distro on the machine and get it on it's way to becoming a NEW Falcom Wiki!

I've just set up the server with Media Wiki. falcom.no-ip.org/ Right now, the Wiki is bare. However, today I plan on working on a start of a game list.
