Isn't his name Stoker? It's pretty commonly used ("Ys V common", that is - not very common).

Yeah, that's the name I heard before. Also, why do you think Massea is the best option, Deuce? I find it downright weird. Why not Marsha or Marcia, much more natural sounding names?

Well Massea is commonly used as well. Personally, I think it is a much nicer name than Marsha/Marcia.

I think it sounds weird. I vote for Marsha.

Man's got a point on that mental association. =[

BWAHAHA!! You know, I could swear I saw it printed that way in English (Engrish?) in some book somewhere.... I could be suffering low blood caffeine levels, however. Stoker and Guruda? Works for me. And personally I think Massea is much, MUCH better than Marcia/Marsha. Let's recall that Ys is a fantasy style RPG here... we don't want names that are quite THAT common or 1970s old-fashioned, thanks. As said, bad mental associations with that name. Bleeeeehhhh....

Man's got a point on that mental association. =[ I concur. I very, very, very much concur.

Everywhere I go, it's always "Massea, Massea, Massea!" ......That was hilarious but SO wrong.

I wholeheartedly agree with the last two statements. Chester MADE the name cool. In Felghana, anyway.
^__^<3 Thank heaven his character design was also massively improved upon. That uniform is just spiffy. XD

Chester was always a badass, and I'll fight anyone who says otherwise!

I was a wee little girl back when I played the SNES Ys III, so heck if I even REMEMBER what he was like in that one.
They need another Felghana patch that lets you play as Chester in Boss Rush or something. That would be deliciously awesome. XD

This is a correct statement.

Yes. Yes they did.
T_T My friends laughed at me for cursing his name repeatedly during those fights~! But they don't know! They don't KNOW!!
Histrionics aside, I (fortunately) never got to play the TG version.... but I did hear the voice acting. BLURGH. He was the most unmasculine dweeb I've ever heard, Elena sounded perpetually BORED... it... was... yuck.

There is no voice acting in Ys III.
As for Chester, he did have a fair share of buster; but at the same time, he did manage to successfully capture Adol and toss him down that pit. With back-up, yeah. But against Adol. Also: Given the limitations of the the peasantry, I can't fault Chester too much for what he did, save for the lack of forethought.

There wasn't, huh? =P The redbook audio from the Turbografx version sure seems to have some. Also this. ....I rather love the scene in Felghana where he KICKS Adol down that hole. That was just... rude... but oh so freakin' cool. Poor Adol. XD

That is a fake. There is no voice acting in Ys III.
I recall it being quite an amusingly callous act in the SNES version.

...Oh. Oh my, you're right. There was no voice acting. There was aural torture. My bad.
I just like the sound effect in Felghana when he basically just NAILS Adol and sends him sailing over the edge like a football. ^_^ BWAHAHA.

I recall it being a shove in Ys III, then several screens worth of falling. =D
