Heh. Maybe I should resurrect the Ys Remixes thread. I could probably add a few to this thread, at least.

Firstly: CrazyJo receives all the Pearls of the Orient!* Also" I do have that first one onhand, the Romancing Saga III song. I'll need to get home and upload though, but I'm down with it if anyone wants it. *I was talking about Mare Orientale; found on the moon. Delivery not included.

Would it be threadjacking if I mentioned how hilarious the videos were?

Only if it isn't done in the form of a haiku, then a sonnet, then another haiku.

^_^ I picked up some really spiffy remix samples from this site some time ago... earthj.net/ej/saku.htmlI'll be damned if I remember how the heck I even stumbled on it though. I wish I could purchase those CDs they seem to have up there, because the song samples are dreadfully short. There is ONE sample of a remix of Palace of Destruction which is of decent length... on the 'Silver Artifact' album close to the end of the page. Also, this one has a couple Ys remixes (simple but snazzy Dark Fact theme on guitar). He's also got a slew of original stuff, but I've no idea if it's any good. Gonna try it out later. www.gamemusic.ca/Yay. ^__^

I have the Earth Japan Ys CDs on my comp. Silver Artifact is basically Joke, Destroy, and Karma with some added tracks. I can upload a CD or two if you want me to.
Speaking of which, Seldane! What's our status on uploading of doujin CDs and spreading links to them, eh? We allow that or is that a no-no?

I'm not sure, as long as they're actually free, then go ahead.

I'm not sure, as long as they're actually free, then go ahead. I wouldn't exactly call them free. One CAN purchase them through... some channel, I believe, I don't entirely know. Most of them aren't sold much anymore due to the interest drying up. Which is why I ask, technically I believe they can be bought.

If I may suggest a standard: Perhaps if something is no longer being produced and sold firsthand, there is no need to worry about putting it up for download.

Sword of Justice has some great music on their site too.
They surely do. =P I think that's the first version of Release of the Far West Ocean that I've actually LIKED quite a lot... I love the tune, but the hideously sampled instrument they use in the original game version of the song always killed it for me. Thanks for the links, Vert, GMF!
