Anyone got any information about this? www.youtube.com/watch?v=2oa8GFE5V6UIt kind of looks like Lineage 2 to me. I'm not too sure what to think about it... I like the fast paced action that Ys provides and I'm not sure this will satisfy.

Something about it is (somewhat) unique - you have to pay to play it, and it is ONLY available to Koreans and Japanese. It is not possible to play it for people in other countries.
This is probably only because it sucks more than usual, though. They want to keep it away from us.

FM-77, do you know of any place to download the japanese version of Ys Online?
A friend and I are thinking about creating a server, so that we can see some of the game's elements, music, etc. Or even to play a bit. Anyway, I'm interested in the japanese version... I'm more familiar with their characters ("letters").

No idea, but you can buy it on Yahoo Japan. Comes in a fairly nice box.

Is there a rip of the soundtrack on the net?

I don't think so.
But a friend was thinking of ripping them.

This game is just going to be overtaken by the Japanese, Chinese, and Koreans. There isn't going to be any room for the US even if it is released for us.
What Falcom needs to do is release Ys I & II for the DS. (I am laughing uproariously at this very moment!)
