I know i am really new here, so i hope i am not offending anyone by proposing this:
Is it possible for us, non-japanese speaking fans of Ys, to buy the translation patch for Ys Origin? From what i read i heard you guys got it all done but havent release it yet, please correct me if i am wrong.
Sorry if i am pesting, i know this is a touchy subject.

There is no Ys Origin translation patch, and there will probably never be one.

Dude, the story in an Ys game is really only 10% of what makes the game good. I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Nah, someone posted a translation of the game on Gamefaqs a long time ago. I know someone posted it here, but I never bothered to look at it.

I see. Well, if you ever come across it again please post/link it  I don't think it's in on GameFAQs, I think it's just on Deuce's computer.  He and Nightwolve have been working on a patch, and Deuce finished translating the game for it... but the patch has not yet been made. -Tom I find it a bit strange that he doesn't just release the script in a text file, seeing how the patching process has hit a wall. What's the use of making a complete translation and not sharing, I feel like I'm being taunted  |

Or waiting for someone that's actually doing some hacking with the game to approach him. Who knows? Best thing to do in this case is invest some time (and maybe money) and learn Japanese! :3 |

I'll try adjusting until next month my schedule so that I spend at least an hour (or even less) per day into... getting into japanese. |
