Regarding the translation, I've always known Lair as Lair in all Ys games I've played and other media. I think it's a really nifty name for a Goddess too. Guess it'll take some getting used to with "Reah". Good luck with the patch Wryd and Doppi.

He did most of the Voice over work in GTA IV, and also had a hand in Saints Row 2

This is why we love to talk with people and to share with them all our ideas and knowloedge. I have to say you that when the two projects will be finished i had the idea to majke a detailed post with every single thing we discovered about the game structure so..if anyone elese will desire to make a tys translation in his own language he will have all the stuff and the informations to do it. Thank you omgfloofy for your blessing. Say hello to Alerith from me and thank him for his support. Man, I really love and care for this community. We have the greatest people here. ='( I must say (once again) that I. AM. DEEPLY. grateful for ALL the previous works both Deuce and NightWolve have done for the Ys fanbase. By NW & Deuce: Ys IV The Dawn of Ys, Ys I.II COMPLETE, Ys: The Oath in Felghana. By NW and Wyrd: Typing of Ys. By Deuce (and others): Ys III NES, Ys IV SNES (kind of). I honestly love all they did for us. Needless to say, I TOTALLY SUPPORT THIS CURRENT PATCH, Doppiapunta and Wyrdwad. You're doing an excelent job, and also I'm spreading the word about your patches all over the (small, but loyal) brazillian Ys fanbase. (We use many tools such as Orkut.) We all are very happy for your fruitful efforts. Bluekun did well on mentioning mirrormoon... and I must say you are going in the same way as they did, which couldn't be better. Therefore you have my full support. Seeing how much love and effort you're putting in these projects, I would use your patches even if the translation was worse and the programming sucked! Which I know it's not the case. So yeah, that's enough rant of my part. I have to say you that when the two projects will be finished i had the idea to majke a detailed post with every single thing we discovered about the game structure so..if anyone elese will desire to make a tys translation in his own language he will have all the stuff and the informations to do it. I can't emphatize enough how incredible of you that would be. (Heh, as if you weren't doing enough. You know, I've a friend who translated Ys I COMPLETE to portuguese (after its english counterpart), and he was thinking of requesting your help to provide the english script of your projects, so that he would translate them to portuguese. (We got many non-english speaking fans here.) So, you can be sure people would take advantage of that plan of yours and tirelessly thank you for it!

I don't normally poke my head into these but I will say I honestly wish Wyrd, Doppi and Floofy the best of luck with their works and I believe you are all doing it in the true spirit of fan work - to help others enjoy something as much as you do.
Unlike others... but that's already been covered so I'll leave it there.

I'd still prefer Reah to Lair. I don't care what the original official translated name was in past Ys games but now the Japanese spell it as "Reah" so I'm going with that.

Damn that makes me happy to hear. Reah sounds really feminine, while Lair makes me think of the Shredder (of ninja turtles fame, don't ask me why). Reah is a cool name on its own anyways, kinda like Leah but with a twist. I love it.

And yeah, while Lair still seems to be the fan-favorite spelling I'm sorry, I don't hear anyone, do you? It's just the wind~ *keeps on whistling*

I am quite the strange video game collector here. I buy some games for new, but i refuse to open them so i download the game themselves to keep the condition brand new. I do that with game soundtracks. ^^ I USED to have an unopened Ys VI OST since I already had the mp3s and then, one day, I decided to open it. XD Right now the Zwei II OST remains unopened but let's see how long THAT will last. XD Oh, and a Legend of Heroes VI patch may finally come out!? :OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! *waits patiently*

We have the greatest people here. ='( LIES. It's knives at dawn when you're not looking. Also Lair makes me think of a big dingy cavern full of spiders. In the context of women's names therefore, this is just wrong in so, so many ways.

A big dingy cavern full of spiders you say? Hmm...so...Feena was imprisoned in Lair? That does explain how she lost her memory and couldn't recover it until it was harmonica time~ Or does it? Ignore me, I'm just making up some random conspiracy theory based on a joke and now my head hurts lol PS Nunuu apparently Datel already has a battery that can put a PSP-3000 in service mode and is releasing it by the end of this month so you can kiss that protection goodbye too

So just wait for the ptahc release...then i'll give you all the informations you need to make another translation project. I ope you will only out our names in the credits...not for glory...not for me...just to thank the great persons who helped me to realize and finish this great project. Thank you

You don't even need to ask that... I'd give you all the credit in the world anyway! It's for respect and consideration. Thank you once again, doppi.

Haha, I must be the only one that prefers Lair. =) Regardless, look forward to your work guys.
Note: As far as the extra disc, did it even have anything that needed translating? I can't remember off the top of my head but I thought most everything was romanized.
