I've been bored these last few months, so I took a little time to make a small Adol sprite, and I'm hoping for some constructive criticism on it. It's blown up to 500% on this page, and it's quite small in reality. The main concerns I have is whether I made it too small for detail, and whether I picked decent enough colors. I'm by no means an artist, so if anyone has any info on how to artistically render a sprite from an illustration, I'd love to hear it. Thanks for your input. P.S. - Any accessories that Adol might have that might look good on here? I'm currently thinking about drawing that blue scarf he had in YsF.

I might consider dropping the armor shine just a bit, it kinda blots out the rest of the armor.

It looks like he's looking down on the ground, and the colors are a bit pale. Might want to increase the saturation a bit. Or change the hue of his armor to a more blueish color.
Do you have a color limitation? Otherwise you might want to change the shades of the hair a bit too, the brownish shade used on the very top of his head doesn't really fit there. Also, the lightest shade is a little too light. It stands out too much.

Awesome! xD
Hm, but I also agree with FM-77! =]
Anyway, that's incredible! It could very well be used for whatever purpose.

Not too shabby, especially since armor can be a pain in the arse. I'd definitely add some saturation to Adol's hair.
