Ebay I pissing me off royaly right now If anyone has a PC engine system that they are willing to part with I would be greatful... with cash n stuff. I am tired of Magic engine, and I really want to play all my games on a real console for once. Plus I would love to start buying some HU Card games.

I'd personally stick with Magic Engine.
Losing your saves all the time with a real turbo system sucks =/.

I can only assume you've kept them plugged in since you got them, they operate on capacitors, which means all save data is wiped if you leave them unplugged for about two weeks or so.
Keeping it plugged in costs a lot of money over the course of years(devices still draw power even when they're off, sometimes almost as much as when they're on).
Those bank save devices are nice, but they cost more than the system these days =/

Geesh when did they get so cheap? I remember two years ago I couldn't find one for under $140.

Identical* in hardware to a DUO-R, but much more expensive due to it being less common. DUO-R is a better choice, as it's the same machine, but cheaper. *Being a newer, re-branded model, which retailed at a lower price, it likely contains cheaper components, however. This is common practice, and has been done to almost every console ever (NES, PS2, MD, etc). Which may result in slightly less lifetime (95 years, instead of a hundred). Also, my saves have never disappeared when the system's been unplugged for MONTHS (which happens a lot, I usually pack away all the consoles I'm not using, since I have so many). All the saves have been erased EVERY SINGLE TIME I've opened up the system however. And I've done that a lot, for various reasons. Also, once I had opened the system, and then tripped on something and it SMAAAAAAAAAAAASH(ed) into the floor with X-TREME power !!!!!! Nothing happened to it, except that one of the plastic pins that holds the CD unit in place snapped off, but that had no impact on the CD unit's hold in place-ance. It's a sturdy system, for sure.
