So as long it doesn't carry on to C'dol etc. I'dol wouldn't be funny at all. As for the space pirates in Moon concept... reminds me of One Piece

I never saw/read One Piece, heh. Never was really interested in any series that was past the typical 26/52 episode length for some reason; I think the only exception was Slam Dunk.

:( This thread started out good. Now it sucks. Yeah, it should be about awesome manga like Fairy Tail.

Wait, I thought all threads here end up differently from their original purpose? Anyway One Piece rules, the manga I mean. Forget about watching the anime, only crazy people with lots of time on their hands watch hundreds of episodes of anime. Fairy Tail's ok... but the dude used to work as the assistant to the guy doing One Piece, that's why the art is so similar that it's a rip off. Monster Hunter and Fairy Tail, they're ok as mangas but I can't help thinking that the author just rehashed ideas and character designs from Rave, his first major series. And no, nothing about twin moons in this post. No wait, I think I'll go with the idea that the 2 moons are actually new worlds where the ancients migrate to after the world of Ys gets flooded with monsters from a huge inter-dimensional summon spell gone wrong by the ancient winged people that involved a gigantic Emelas orb laced with intricate webs of spell casting. Then again maybe not...

Nothing to do with moons, but someone needs to upload a video of Dogi's "Wall Crusher" line on YouTube.
I'm Dogi, the wall crusher! Wanna have your walls crushed?! XD

I keep thinking those moons are from FFIV.
In fact, I bet that this world that Ys is in used to have one moon and then the moon from FFIV came here!

Adol, B'dol, C'dol, D'dol, E'dol. Adol, the Red. B'dol, the Blue. ... Dol rangers! (This... (... is ridiculous. xD) This seems like it was done by a 3-year-old.

There is another game called "moon" coming out for the Wii soon. I thought it was the same game you are always ranting about, but I don't think it fits the bill.

The One Piece manga is wonderful and anyone who doesn't agree is a retarded hipster. =|
Can't say a thing about the anime, though.
Also moons and pirates go together. And the second moon is where the airships are.

Chances are that since the world that contains Ys is an analogue to our own, the makers wanted to have a few fantastic things about it, hence two moons. Who knows what else there is besides two moons and the Atlantis-like Eldeen? I'd shit bricks if they had a hollow earth, personally.

Moon is easily the best-looking DS game ever made. It looks like it could be fun.

I do remember a line from Ys I Eternal manual stating that two goddesses of Ys were supposed to be daughters of the goddess of moon. Maybe two moons contained some idea of overall storyline scrapped in favor of emelas? This was from the Korean manual for Ys I Eternal so it may not be actually from Falcom... But then those were days when goddesses were considered goddesses, not "advanced people with wings".
