I have a quick question. I love the look of the Ys I-II Complete Deluxe Box Set (the "book"). I only own the "Vista" versions of Ys I-II and OiF. I was wondering...how are the manuals in the regular versions? I like my Ys Vista version, but the manual isn't in color Do they have more artwork and are in color? Just curious about them...

I have the "book" version of Ys I&II and the manual is a pritty thick book of about 88 pages on A5 size paper. the artwork pages are in full color, the manual part of the book is in brown shades.
hope it helpes.
edit: no it's not for sale, it took me three weeks of walking in and out of used Japanese PC-game shops all over Japan.

Oooh, ok, I see. Thanks for the info. The Vista version also has the manual pages in shades of brown and I was just wondering if all the manuals had it like this... Even without you saying it, I KNEW you'd probably never want to part with it LOL

Anyone looking for the "book" version of Ys I&II complete should know they pop up on Yahoo Japan Auctions regularly. I got mine for about 2000yen. I can keep an eye out for them if anybody wants (for personal use, not for resale. I will not be somebody's source for these games so they can mark them up and rip people off). I have a source in Japan that could drop-ship them, which would save on cost. I would expect to pay around $50 shipped. Just PM me if interested... -ud
