now we only need an Ys SEVEN trailer. =)

Around the 1:12 mark it shows 2 PSPs with both the old and new character portraits, also I see clips from both the Eternal and Complete intros. Is there going to be some type of old/new mode switching? What does it say at the 1:12 mark?

The music there was preeeeeeeeeeeeetty awesome and totally sold me on the whole deal. I still wish this had been a retool in the vein of Felghana, but ... /shruuuuuuuuuuuuuug Can't have everything. New art and music is pretty sweet, too.

Makes me proud to be a PSP owner just for gems like this. I am most intrigued by that bit at the end. IS that a new soundtrack CD or what? Anyone wanna use magical deciphering skills?

It's been on their website for a while now You're right, but the artwork has also been up on that website for a while too. I just never posted it before because I thought it was common knowledge or something. Sure has a lot of text on it...

Ahh, that's how you remix Ys I-II music. looking forward to the rest of the soundtrack. The new art is starting to grow on me a bit too but I'm glad that we're getting a choice of that and music. You know what would be sort of nifty, but I can tell from the trailer they won't do it? Do the 'boss title' thing that VI-Origin did but replace the silly Eternal 'Redemption of...' titles with the cooler ones from Origin. I still wish this had been a retool in the vein of Felghana, but ... /shruuuuuuuuuuuuuug Can't have everything. Don't get discouraged, I'm sure the king of remakes will eventually bring us I-II in Oath-styled glory. They were considering it for this game after all. Of course, I'd rather see a remake of IV before anything else but that's just me...

Hmmm... I DID like the remix very much, but IMO I have seen better ones in the past. =o Anyway, I'm looking forward to July. =) (June or July?) Also, offtopic(?): CANSEL Another faRcomâ„¢. (Ys III X68000)

Not really worth starting a new thread for, so I'll post it here.
Preorders from Falcom's mail order site will include a 'soundtrack mini' ala Sora 3rd, including a bunch of the best tracks from the newly arranged OST. I hope they'll be different ones from those on the Best CD!
Also, in case anyone was wondering, unlike Brandish Falcom's mail order is now the best place to buy it. Not Amazon Japan. They don't have anything cool for this or Seven.

4 different bonuses? ~_~ Nicht gut, nicht gut. That's cheap, Falcom! Yo. Anyway, I agree the soundtrack mini is the nicest bonus.

Although the phone card is very cute, I have the old phone card with Lilia. I went for the Mini OST, hopefully with the new to make the end of battle arrangment. I also picked up the Ys 6 game, since a still don't own the PC version. got the PSP and PS2 version and since I finsihed the PC version already 4 times...I really should buy it
