Surely I can't be the only one here to know about (or like) these games?! I could rant forever about these games, but to avoid making another essay I'll just say they're old-school adventure games with truly impressive characters, extremely well-written dialogue, intricate and involving plots, and a nice quirky visual style. Everyone who owns a DS should be obligated to play these games!

Surely I can't be the only one here to know about (or like) these games?! I used to own the first one. Sold it. Played a bit of the second game but never finished it. They're good but I am so SO horrible at detective stuff. I play every case with a walkthrough. :P

I DO know about them. Its just that whenever I see someone who's played them, they be absolutely happily raving about them (with the exception of nunuu's post above). They seem absolutely addicting? :'D
And so, I actually want to start on them when I actually have the time.
*delays playing them for years and tortures self*
Funny thing is, back when I jumped upon getting a DS finally, I actually saw the first part in the store, a proper-non-piratey version for sale. :'D I picked Lunar DS and Ys IV though, and went off penniless. Kind of still regret not getting it back then. >___<

Played the first three and fall in the "happily raving" category! They're really good and mindblowing games with epic music. Had Godot's ringtone on my phone for a while till I decided I just wasn't enough of a coffee addict to justify keeping it.

MP83 and I really appreciate that series. We like it lots. We also have made some Gyakuten Saban "parodies" around here a few times, too, when we both had some sort of debate. xD
I finished the first three DS games. I was playing the fourth one, but... I personally was a bit disappointed at how it started. I played through the first case though, and I must admit it's pretty good, ranking among the best of the introductionary cases of the series. I'm currently in the second case, already defending the heir of that Mafia gang. Despite being initially disappointed, I must say I'm liking the game in general, but I also have to say I'm not as hyped.

I'd agree that Apollo Justice generally isn't as good as the Phoenix Wright-games, but it's still an enjoyable game. I think any sequel would have paled in comparison to the brilliant Trials and Tribulations, though.
That said, I actually think Justice For All is the worst game in the series, even though the final case is EPIC.

I almost got the first one (I absolutely need to start at the beginning with a series like this) but I didn't because my bro's wouldn't get it for me Well, I can't absolutely blame them... Still, it sucks.

Heh, talk about having two left hands! But wow, wouldn't even think it was photoshopped had you not said it.

Actually, it's pretty obvious that the cut was rushed by looking at the edges, especially around the bottom.
Then again, I couldn't do much better, anyway.

I love the Ace Attorney games. Own all four for the DS, and I plan on getting the Edgeworth game that's coming out whenever I get the chance. With that said, the first game is still my favorite. The third game is a very close second! EDIT: Also, in that image, the first game really doesn't fit in with the different logo and box art style.
