Interesting. I might have to give this a shot even though it's not Magic School.
In Lunar related news I didn't know about: Xseed is bringing Silver Star Harmony out in the US in January apparently. I did buy and play Lunar Legend so I guess I'll be getting this as well

Yeah Playasia has a preorder for the US release up waaaay back in November. The date was moved from December to January though. I'm just hoping XSeed throws in a preorder bonus, like the Japanese release had.
Even though Magic School isn't getting the translation, I'm really happy the 2 games have the same story. Plus, after running through LWS, using Kizyr's LMS English guide will be a breeze to use.

I've never played a Lunar game to begin with, so I'm not really a fan, but this game looks... wow. Are there really people aside from diehard Lunar fans who want to play this? >_>

Heh, its really one of the only standout RPG's for the Gamegear, so I'm sure some Sega enthusiasts will be excited.

I have all the Sega RPG I need in Phantasy Star IV and Valkyria Chronicles. Wait, forget about my previous question. Who's interested in the Gamegear to begin with?

Gamegear is alright, as its essentially a Master System on the go. Also, you forgot to mention Skies of Arcadia

I've never played that. Isn't that for the Gamecube? I don't have one of those anymore.

Gamegear had some pretty rock-awesome Sonic exclusives. Triple Trouble was a favorite of mine growing up. Skies of Arcadia was totally for the Dreamcast first, too~

Yeah man, and there were quite a few team members from the Phantasy Star games that worked on it. Namely, Rieko Kodama ---------------> Read Me!

I'm guessing that's not the only time he's done so. It's just that he's actually released the 8-bit tunes on a seperate disc, for those three games. And probably more. EOIII!!! That's not me shouting EOIII, by the way.

Was this one of those Magical School Lunars? I've forgotten.... were there two games of that or was one an original and one a remake (like the Complete versions of SSS and EB)? Eitherway, thanks for the links! I had no clue at all that this was even being translated, let alone getting a patch! I'm grabbing this right now and trying it out the first chance I get! <3

Yep, its the original game for the GameGear. Its sometimes loosely referred to as "Strolling" School Lunar, and the Saturn game is a remake in the same vein as the Complete versions of the first 2 games.
