find a game that gets me heart pounding action. I dunno what it is, I just wanna pull a few Braunles, and almost die. To pull a Braunle is to pull through at the very last moment in a game and get your heart rushing. I need this... I want something fast, that is risky, y'know? But new! Something I've never done before. I get that with Outrun 2 sometimes, but I need a new thing. Maybe with guns?
Something simple, arcade, probably straight line... it can be a doujin game. It can be on any console PS1 and under, that I can emulate. I can just barely emulate PS1 games. Maybe I should try Little Ralph?
Thoughts on a game to get my heart going?

I second Little Ralph. Just watch (or don't) a YouTube video of area 8-3 sometime! It is pure adrenaline hell!

The Adventure of Little Ralph seems great. I want to play it. It's ok for the most part, but it doesn't really get good until the end. The first 3/4th of the game is pretty easy. Smithee - Did you buy Muramasa yet?

I know that I can beat I Wanna Be The Guy (Smithee, you might want to give that a try! It's free. I have to start all over, lost my pre-Birdo save.) -- I mean, I already beat 8-3b on Little Ralph, multiple times. Highly recommended, anyway!

@wyrd: Yeah, Odin Sphere isn't my kinda thing... but I will check out little Ralph! @justin: I've still not got around to picking it up, but I've got a friend who owns it @maggot: I'll check out IWBTG, I already planned on playing that sometime. You should check out Nikujin and all of Ikiki's games if you want to play something hard.

Ok
THAT IS IT SMITHEREENS!
Go buy that game right now!
Mr. "I have $30 to spend at EB" should have bought Muramasa lol. Dude, it is the best game on the Wii from last year.

Plus, if you're playing on Shigurui or even Shura, you might have that kind of adrenaline rush you're looking for. Shigurui does it for me.
// Though, if Odin Sphere isn't your kind of thing, Muramasa might not be either.

Well, too late for that. However, I will be playing something, that I think might give me that rush but in a different way. I'll get back to you to see how it goes.

Haha, no, I was looking into X-Com, but I'll need to save up a bit for that I decided to play some Ikiki games, which has done the trick. FOR NOW

Yakuza 3 made me feel like this more than once, but I don't think you have a PS3? I know you have a PSP though, so maybe Half-Minute Hero. Watching the hero smash against the boss as the last two seconds are ticking away can get your heart pumping, and the "hell yes" feeling you get when you win with 0.4 seconds left is awesome. And it's also very "new".

That's what I thought. I just mean that Half-Minute Hero is new to everyone the first time they play it because it's such a unique and original concept, so I thought it fit the bill perfectly.
