Alright guys, having recently purchased magic engine and ys4 doy, i realised that i have a perfectly good super cd machine....but only one game. Im a game freak and over the years I always neglected this machine for the saturn and the snes!!. So a "highly recomended" list for this console would be really nice to get. Im guessing most of this will be ebay purchases but thats ok, if you guys say its worth it...then it is.
I trust all your judgements lol!!!

Dragon Slayer VI: The Legend of Heroes (North American version) Good game. Poor voice acting, but it's the only official English version, so it's a must-have.
Popful Mail The game may be Japanese, and the Sega-CD may be better (it's even in English), but it's a decent Falcom adventure game. Not worth buying if you think it's too expensive, but still a nice game.
Ys Book I & II Considered the best version, and it might just be, but considering the rumored upcoming 3D versions of YsI and II, it won't stay on top for long. Worth getting, though!
The Legend of Xanadu I & II Late Falcom RPGs that didn't get much attention. Personally, I haven't played them much, but I'm pretty sure they're both fantastic. They're both in Japanese.
Only Falcom games this time. I might get back to you later.

Hi I am glad to see you are noticing such a great system it was my first and still favorite 16 bit system, i recommend these Dracula X, like anything needs to be said about this title Spriggan, awesome Compile shooter and sort of sequel to Musha on the genesis, Gates of Thunder, Nec's ansewer to Sega's Thunder Force series. Lords of Thunder, note quite a sequel more of a whole new game featuring a incredible soundtrack and some very impressive graphics Valis series mainly part 1 and 3 classic side scroller for the Turbo. there are plenty of others i just have not thought of them right now

You have to try Exile also, and Dungeon Explorer 2, both of these games feature incredible soundtracks, and are quite fun. They are basically RPGs, but Exile features a hybrid style with side scrolling and overhead views. Everyone else has named all the games I would have named if I found this topic sooner. I would also recommend Emerald Dragon, even though it is in Japanese, it is still one awesome RPG!

beyond shadowgate!!! another criminally overlooked game for the turbografx. completely different style than the original but soooooo much fun! the music and hand drawn artwork are so beautiful and make it worth going through time and time again. it came from the desert frustratingly hard at times, but still quite an experience. actually i think this game is impossible to beat, no matter what you do you get aced, but the game still has an "ending." very creepy. shadow of the beast this was the only version i ever played of this game but maaaaaaaan are the soundtrack and graphics so killer. i must've gone through this game about a million times and it still remained incredibly fun. lords of thunder, gate of thunder, exile (part 2 was good as well but really hard), dungeon explorer 2, and dragon slayer are excellent titles as well, but i would stay away from valis. pretty subpar side scrolling schlock. oh and that game called Ys book i & ii, you know, the greatest videogame ever, it was pretty okay too.

Beyond Shadowgate was pretty wild. For some reason I had a ton of items left over at the end. Must've been alot of stuff I didn't do. The only thing I can remember about "It came from the Desert" is it's kickass theme song and a black dude with a saxamaphone who says "stremph" instead of "strength." beyond shadowgate!!! another criminally overlooked game for the turbografx. completely different style than the original but soooooo much fun! the music and hand drawn artwork are so beautiful and make it worth going through time and time again. it came from the desert frustratingly hard at times, but still quite an experience. actually i think this game is impossible to beat, no matter what you do you get aced, but the game still has an "ending." very creepy. shadow of the beast this was the only version i ever played of this game but maaaaaaaan are the soundtrack and graphics so killer. i must've gone through this game about a million times and it still remained incredibly fun. lords of thunder, gate of thunder, exile (part 2 was good as well but really hard), dungeon explorer 2, and dragon slayer are excellent titles as well, but i would stay away from valis. pretty subpar side scrolling schlock. oh and that game called Ys book i & ii, you know, the greatest videogame ever, it was pretty okay too.

I played It Came From The Desert on my brother's Amiga when I was a kid. It might have been part 2, I don't remember. I sort of liked the game, but I was terrified by it! I thought it was so scary! Now I don't remember what it was all about (heck, I didn't know that then either - it was a strange game.)
