I just beat the PC version of the game on Nightmare difficulty a few minutes ago. I planned on immediately starting up an Inferno playthrough afterwards, but Inferno difficulty still hasn't unlocked.
Is Inferno really supposed to unlock after beating Nightmare, or is there some thing else I have to do? Nightmare Boss Rush, maybe?
I did notice that the first time I beat the final boss my time didn't go up on the leaderboard. Could it just be a glitch?

In this case, the issue is that Nightmare Boss Rush needs to be beaten, not just Nightmare story mode. GameFAQs really needs to correct this information.
Anyway, welcome to the forums Enhasa! Are you the same Enhasa from SDA, or is this someone else? Either way, welcome!

Well, that kind of sucks that I have to beat the Nightmare Boss Rush to unlock it. It's kind of hard to get information on the PC version in general, actually. I'm still not entirely sure how the optional bosses become available in this version.
I really prefer the way the PSP version handled the difficulties, with everything up to Nightmare being unlocked right away and Inferno being easily unlockable.
The leaderboard thing is kind of a bummer, since when I redid the battle again to get my name up there I ended up gaining another level beforehand, getting a worse time as a result.
Oh, and I'm not the same Enhasa from SDA. That's not the first time I've been asked that either...

Hmm, well you could modify the "ysf.ini" file, but I forget what you have to change (something to do with the "GameClearFlag", I think). If you do this, be sure and back it up first. If you go the Boss Rush way, good luck - it's tough.
Regarding the optional bosses, Berhardt is fought at the end of Nightmare Boss Rush, and the Black Pikkard is after the credits in Inferno.

Is Berhardt literally a part of the Boss Rush, or is it a battle that unlocks and can be played separately like in the PSP version? That's one thing I'm still not sure about.

He's just a part of the Boss Rush (after Galbalan, just like in the PSP version) - no individual fight option. Kinda unfortunate, I guess, but that battle (and the Boss Rush in general) gave me a lot of trouble, so I've no desire to face him again anytime soon.

That really is unfortunate... I guess if I do eventually decide to do the Nightmare Boss Rush, I'll fight him a few times on the PSP version to practice it a bit. Probably won't do that any time soon, since I'm getting a bit sick of playing this game after having beaten it around 7 times in a month.
Thanks for answering all my questions man. This has been really helpful.
