Just beat Call of Duty 3 for the Xbox 360. Now working on Splinter Cell: DA, Gears of War and Rainbow Six: Vegas. Those sound like some awesome games. Sadly, I am behind the times on video games. I really used to keep up, and now I have more money than ever before, but I still don't have the new hardware needed for these games (only a PS2, and only an ATI 9200 in my PC). I guess I just don't have the time or desire. (I'm also trying to save money to pay off student loans, even though I'm still in grad school -- I just figure I should get ahead of the game, since I have the chance.)

Ok, just beat Cho Aniki(Super Big Brother), & Ai Cho Aniki(Love Super Big Brother). After beating Ai Cho Aniki, I feel kinda.....dirty. Although, the last boss was a nice surprise, in comparison to the rest of the enemies!

Although, the last boss was a nice surprise, in comparison to the rest of the enemies! Seems like you are tearing it up on the Turbo games. Have you ever finished Super Star Soldier? I don't think I made it past level 2. It is so hard, with all the crap flying around.

I remember, years ago, being able to get to I think the next, to the last level. All the people now playing it for the first time on the Wii, are having problems with the 4th boss. I think that was the big robot, who I remember being tough. I also remember some kind of Octopus thing that was tough. BTW, gotta mention how crazy the music is in the Cho Aniki games, I love the music! And, now that I've beaten them, I can say, they're not very good shooters. Weaponwise, there's no real variety at all! However, they did a bang up job with sprite animations, & in Ai Cho Aniki, looooooads of sprites with no flicker, gotta give them credit! Here's Cho Aniki And here's Ai Cho Aniki The rest of the ending sucks in this one.

The music and the subject matter really make the series stand out from pretty much anything else. I still need to beat Ai Cho Aniki. That one is much harder than the first one. I never knew about this series even being as hardcore a Turbo fan as I am until a few years ago. Highly recommended series for anybody who wants to indulge in some of the most bizarre gaming in your life.

The series is quite bizarre, & in my mind, I keep telling myself it ain't homoerotic, but, some things in Ai Cho Aniki......good grief

As the series progressed it definetely got homoerotic but the first game is just plain weird. Lots of machines given human properties.

I finally got around to finishing Ys: Oath in Felghana and let me say.....it is magnificent! Just beat it again, this time on Normal. (First time was on Easy. I admit I'm not much of a twitch gamer.) I don't know when (if) I'll try it on Hard, let alone past that.

I don't know when (if) I'll try it on Hard, let alone past that. I played it first on normal, and I thought that was hard enough. Maybe I'll try something harder down the road, but it will be a while.

I once tried Ys VI in hard mode. After an hour I restarted the game and chose normal again, heheheh. Haven't tried YsF on any other difficulty than normal, and when I replay it, I'll choose normal again. It was challenging enough.

Ys VI isn't too terrible on hard mode. If you can get past the first boss, you're nearly home free. Takes more leveling than usual, but who here didn't expect that? Felghana, though... Felghana is a whoooole 'nother beast. Bosses become absolutely insane there. The ice dragon and the midbosses of Valestein, in particular, drive me batty.

I'm going to shoot for the hard difficulty as soon as the English patch is ready.

This guy. BTW, here is the page from the guide about these extra fights. Problem is, I can't read a lick of Japanese. How do you get to them? (It looks to me like you get to Berhard by beating Nightmare, Time Attack, and Boss Rush, and the "Dark Pikkard", if that's what that second one is, by beating Inferno. But that's just me reading only the English on the page. )

Beat Super Raiden for TurboGrafx CD. Damn it gets hard, but, thank goodness for save states! I believe there are only 8 stages in the arcade game, but there is 10 is this one. Game never ended
