Hi, so I've been a fan of Ys for a long time and recently I was planning to do a collab with a friend involving me playing piano and her singing an english version for Rush Out (vocal version of Innocent Primeval Breaker). I've already written a version for English lyrics based on matching syllables to the music and trying to use my rough japanese skills to translate and keep some of the original meaning of the song.
I ran into a bit of a snag though as I can't find any sheet music for the song. I've always had trouble finding sheet music for Ys. I've found some links throughout the forums but all the ones I clicked on seem to be down (and for other Ys games as well). So I wanted to ask, is there anywhere where I can get sheet music for this song (and any other Ys songs)? Official or fan transcribed is fine, but I haven't been able to find much of anything (like even with being willing to pay money for sheet music collections I can't even find a single book =<).
Thanks for any help in advance (and for reading my massive all of text).

There's a book containing music designed for electric guitar here which includes Innocent Primeval Breaker. If you're willing to import the book and convert it to piano form (if only as a starting point) that might work for you. A quick search didn't turn any online versions up but I can look around some more.

I'll go take a look, although I can't say I would be successful never really playing guitar... the closest I came was ukelele for a few weeks at school. But it's definitely better than nothing! I guess if all else fails I can try to find someone who takes transcription requests or something XD.

It's not sheet music, but it might give you a start if you are looking to write your own.

o.o Thanks a bunch! That will definitely point me in the right direction for trying to play, seeing as sheets don't seem to exist. I'll have to bring my laptop with me to the piano sometime and see what I can do. (I can even see quite a few of the keys being played yay!)
