A short postmortem(if this kind of thing interest you):
Well basically it was too hard for me to create the art for the Rogue Like game. It required 32x32 sprites from at least 4 angles. For Afternoon Hero I only needed 16x16 sprites from a single viewing angle. It became a lot more fun creating the sprites and was easier to animate. I could also more easily test the gameplay and from an early stage of the development.
Overall I think I made a wise choice switching to this platformer game style.
I thought to tell you about the game because why not? XD
