I found X1 harder too, Sigma is always really tough. Or perhaps you can't make it to Sigma at all? That's usually where I falter, though I beat them eventually.

Well, try and beat Flame Mammoth first to get his weapon, then use it to own Chill Penguin? The elemental bosses are a joke once you use the weapon they're weak against.

Its weird, I can beat Megaman Zero and 2 (I never played the others yet), but I can't beat X1. That's.... not normal. To me the only hard things about Zero 1 & 2 are the reduced screen sizes (less room to dodge or less visible area creating higher difficulty like Gunstar Heroes Advance) and if you're going for a perfect play you can't use any cyber elves. Hello enforced no upgrade, low hit run. I'll probably pick up Mega Man Zero Collection at some point because I enjoyed 1 & 2 and always wanted to play 3 & 4. Also I'm hearing from other people that the mode where you play through all 4 games is easier because of how they handle the cyber elves in the first games.

Man, the new easy mode is a JOKE. Even Wyrd would demand more challenge, I kid you not.

Vaaaaaaarion! Xenoblade is absolutely the most wonderful thing ever! So much so that I had to find someone to gush about it to! And so much so that I'm feeling obliged to end everything with exclamation marks! My copy came on Saturday, and I love it. I never thought I'd like a game with so many MMO elements, but Xenoblade makes them fun~ And I'm really enjoying the story and characters, even if Norio Wakamoto's incredibly distinctive voice seems to have ruined a plot twist for me already. How far along are you now? Are you still enjoying it just as much, or is it the sort of game that starts strong and peters out later? Right now I'm sitting at twenty hours and feeling like I could happily go a hundred. And judging by the size of the areas and the fun that can be had exploring them, I just might! I'm worried it might grow tiresome as it goes on, though. It's rare that I like games that are...umm...game-ish.

They probably shouldn't have gone for someone quite so distinctive, you can tell Wakamoto from a mile away. I'm in the Nopon village in the Makuna Woods now and I'm still enjoying the game a lot, although I haven't played it much at all in the last few days because of E3 Hype Mode. A little of the luster wears off after a few new areas I think (not aided by the fact the area music never quite beats the Colony 9 theme) but it's still great stuff. Where I am the plot really seems to be about to kick into gear too, which can only be good for keeping me interested.

Finally encountered a challenge in Pop'n Music Portable that stumps me!
It be a 4-song anime/tv theme song course on 5B Hard and I need to pass it to continue. >:O!
I'll probably play them a bit in Free Mode to the point that I can pass them without breaking more than once. Or maybe I'll wait till the UMD arrives so I can play the game on the slim (as I am convinced I can perform better with it).
I have a feeling that the next world is going to have 5B Hard mode as the Easy type stages. ._________.
Actually, I do believe there is one other challenge that I've ignored for a while but it's not necessary to beat it to continue on as far as I can tell.

Xenoblade is so long. Almost 50 hours playtime and I'm only just going onto the second god, which I think accounts for at least 30% or so of the game. So I guess I'll be finishing with about 70 hours of playtime, and that's without doing all the quests, maxing everyone's affection levels, doing much at all of the town rebuilding sidequest, loads of unique monsters I haven't beaten, barely any of the final art books, etc etc.
Also the story is officially getting awesome now. Great stuff.

It really is! I'm at forty-something hours, and I only just finished Prison Island, which felt sort of like the midway point of the game. And that's with only a tiny fraction of the sidequests, too! I'm rapidly getting the impression that it's a game where it's genuinely impossible to see and do everything on your first run, but once I got over the obsessive-compulsive desire to do everything I could possibly do in every location, I started having so much fun just wandering the world, doing what I could, and then progressing with the story. I think it probably strikes a better balance between the strengths of Eastern and Western RPGs than any game I've ever played before. The last few cutscenes were so cool, too! Recognising Wakamoto's voice from such an early point meant I had already basically figured everything out, but like Xenosaga or Xenogears, even when you know something is going to happen it's handled with such style and flair that it ends up being pretty jaw-dropping anyway. And some of the shots of the Faces brought back fond memories of previous Xeno games. Right now I'm especially curious about Alviss's (not sure if this is the correction romanisation) motives. Also, he reminds me a little of chaos from Xenosaga, and I think I'm kind of in love with him~ ^^ But yes, while I don't know how far ahead you are, the story really seems to be kicking up a notch for me now

Half-Life 2
only reason i'm playing it is because I had bought the orange box so I could play portal again, (cant play my PC version any more) and it came with it. But I must say I find myself quite addicted to it. I have to get up early in the morning and i dun wanna go to bed yet xD
plus I'm loving some of the music.

太鼓の達人 DS ドロロン!ヨーカイ大決戦!!
OMG. The RPG mode is SO FUN and very cute! Just ... wish random battles weren't so frequent. At least you can run from them!
LOOOOOOK!!! Well, you can't tell how fun and awesome it is because I don't show anything outside the village. XD But still!!
FUN!!

I'm about to start up Der Langrisser again since I never beat it the last time I played it, even though I liked it. I think it's a pretty off-the-radar game, so I wonder if any of you know about it.

I know about it. Not very much about it, but I know of its existence.
I'm playing Yakuza. It's hard... maybe I should switch to easy mode.
In any case, story is intense. Too bad the other games aren't dubbed, I really like this dub.
I'm in a fight with Majima guy at the baseball place. Gotta save Haruka-chan!

Ahhh I really wish I could play the first two games, even though there was a pretty decent story recap of both the games in Yakuza 3.

Puzzle Bobble Mini, trying to beat every level. 71/ - presumably 99. My room is poorly lit by a floor lamp in the corner and the NGPC isn't back-lit. Makes differentiating the colors a touch difficult at times. I need a desk lamp or something.
