So, you can finally preorder Ys: The Oath in Felghana, and it comes with some nice bonuses as well. So, the question is: are you going to preorder / buy this game? Vote away!

Already have, just waiting for a reply back from Falcom Yeah, I'm pretty much at the end of the game(MOTS), in the Silver District. The game is pretty disapointing, even more so at the end. The controls & magic system stink, that's my main complaint. The Silver District is a headache........way more then Salmon(Solomon) Shrine & it's sewer system, that wasn't too bad. I want to beat the game & enjoy it, but, for the most part, I'm forcing myself to play thru it, & going back n forth to guides, which I didn't have to do with DOY. Though I do think the PS2 version will be an improvement, atleast in the control department, not to mention the music ofcoarse, which isn't bad in the SNES version, but ain't great. I still won't enjoy the story, with the Winged Ones pretty much originally being evil, that's just wack IMHO. So, anyways, I'm REALLY looking forward to Felghana, I just hope I get an email from Falcom soon for me to confirm my order!!

Anyway, I finally preordered it. I am so looking forward to this (and YsVI which I also preordered for PS2! - that means YsVI in May, and Felghana in June! Can it get much better than that?)

The poster above mentioned that he didn't want the PS2 version of Ys 4, & I went even more off topic & mentioned about how far in the SNES/SFC version I am, & how disapointed I am in it, my bad.

I'm... going to wait and see if it gets translated. >> Understanding what's going on is half the fun in RPGs. It's part of the experience that, after playing Ys Eternal, I'm realizing I really would like to have. I'm tempted to buy it when it comes out, though!

problem is you may be waiting along time for the translated version. the PC version of Ys 6 has yet to be translated and it came out in 2003 were now in 2005, the only reason we got to see it translated is because konami released a PS-2 version in the USA. there is no garuntee that the same will happen for this game. you may have to wait to 2007 to see a usa version (that is if they acctually do it) for me that is alittle to long to wait.

PC version of Ys 6 would be translated by now. Falcom veto'd it. There's an earlier post about it somewhere around here.

So far, just Falcom! Cocoebiz might have it eventually, but it'll probably be quite a bit more I'm guessing.

I think Gillian Seed should post his little "Falcom order template" in this thread as well!

From what I gathered on the official site, I don't believe there's voice acting in this game. To me, that's a big thing and it made Ys i,II Eternal for the PS2 that much better.
Can someone confirm?

The voice acting, like with Ys 6, was added for the PS2 version, so, if this ever comes out for PS2, you can pretty much expect voice acting for this one.

Gurumin featured voice acting, so it's not impossible this one won't, but since it hasn't been mentioned, it's not very likely. No matter, I find Japanese voice acting annoying anyway.

Well, I got an email back from them, & I said I'm ok, so, now I just gotta wait for the order number email, & finally, the game itself.

Yes sure, like others Falcom games (Gurumin, The Legend of Heroes 6....). I like so much Action-RPG like Ys and this package seems so full !!!I've received a confirmation from Falcom. But I'm little worry about this information in the E-Mail : *This game is only for Japanese edition Windows. A game may not work if you don't have Japanese Windows. Approve it in advance.Hope this is like others games : Ok with WINDOWS XP (FR or US )with use of language options.
