Believe me, there are worse games. Pick any of the porno titles on 3DO, & I'm sure they're worse, maybe with ecxeption to Mind Teaser. Since it's a puzzle game, it probably has some slight value & fun in that respect. Edit-Ok, now that I've watched the above video, I have a hard time saying anything is worse then Plumbers! I'll put those 3DO porno titles on the same level as Plumbers...if not maybe better then Plumbers?

I'm about 90 hours into Fallout 3. Sheesh this game is long! Probably have another 60+ hours to go! I'm enjoying it, it's kind of sureal, but, I would like to play other games. I did take a break from it & beat Retro City Rampage.

I have zero interest in the 720. Infact, I have zero interest in the 360, I got mine for free, & only accepted it cuz there were a couple of decent sandbox Naruto games on it....& that's it. The tracking thing I think is just stupid. I have no interest in it, & the fact that the Kinect is required makes me lose even more interest to the point of outright hatred. I just want to play with a controller, that's it. I love my PS3, all the games I play, use a controller. I have no interest in the Move. I never play my Wii, though there are a few great games on it. Also, I'm not always online. I suppose some people with smartphones are always online, or people that work in an office. I have no desire to be always online. I waste too much time on the internet farting around as it is. And then, yes, there is the paranoid factor. I don't like being tracked in general. Who knows how far these companies are going to take it....or already have taken it!

wow awesome release I loved this game back in the NES days. I used to love the music in this game I am definitely getting this. by the way the classics are not done yet the big rumors are they are going to re-release Castle of Illusion and a new Strider (another wonderful Capcom game) this year there has been a little bit of info released so far we are not sure if they are remasters like this or just ports of their classic 16-bit counterparts but it is something to look forward to. it seems that strider may have new graphics from what we have seen but I cannot wait to see the future info on these 2 titles I'd be down for Castle of Illusion AND Strider remakes -- though I kind of hope, probably futilely, that if they remake Strider, they remake the NES version, not the arcade/Genesis version. Because that NES Strider, for as wonky as it may have been, was a freaking AMAZING game back in the day, and was far superior to its 16-bit counterpart IMHO. -Tom Strider for NES is another one that I've dreamt about remaking for the Turbo, with me on the music. Also, there is some sort of Strider coming to PSN/XBL/WW, got this off Magicbox: "Official Xbox website has leaked a new XBLA title Strider from Capcom earlier, and it was removed shortly after. It is uncertain whether it is a HD remake of the classic title or a new installment."

This really is pretty amazing. According to the Siliconera article about it, the game's art was all drawn by some of the original artists from the cartoon, most of the original voice cast has returned to reprise their roles, and yes, Virt is arranging the NES soundtrack + peppering in some original tracks of his own. Oh, and there's an added mode where you get to swim around in Scrooge's money bin. It's pretty much the perfect resurrection of Duck Tales -- a real love letter to fans, both of the original game and the original show. But then, I'd expect no less of WayForward. They're freaking ON FIRE lately -- Double Dragon Neon was a pretty unprecedented reboot with some of Virt's best music to date. I really, really love those guys. -Tom Wayforward keeps impressing me. Loved DD Neon, & yes, gotta be some of Virt's best work! Virt's gonna have a blast redoing the music! Actually, Ducktales is one of the games that I've often thought about remaking for the Turbo, with me doing the music, though I'd obviously need a programmer & sprite/tile artist that would be interested in the project.....& I'd need the time from my other projects.

I had a feeling this would happen. I actually was in a Mega Man mood recently, finally played thru Command Mission & Legends 2(still need to play Legends 1 & Tron Bonne). I'd really like to see more Castleroid MM games, I loved the 2 ZX games, & it'd be sweet to have one on a console, but, I don't see that happening.

While neither is from my group, I still figured I'd pimp the 2 newest Turbo games coming this month! Revival Chase, a clone of Lock n' Chase comes with an issue of Revival magazine(#45 for the US edition), you can order it here in the US, just scroll down to issue 45: www.gooddealgames.com/inventory/Video%20Game%20Media.htmlFor the UK, you can get it here: sales1632.myzen.co.uk/acatalog/Revival.htmlAnd Aetherbyte's Pyramid Plunder, I'll just quote Arkhan from the PCEFX boards So, with this, the game is officially on sale! \ / \ / \ / \ / \ / www.aetherbyte.com/pce_pyramid.html I would like to thank all of you for:1) Not flipping-the-hell out at the "delays". 2) Going above and beyond to offer help and assistance in the matter of fixing things. That kind of attitude is what makes this stuff worth the effort. and also, I would like to thank you all in advance for:1) Not kicking me in the nuts the next time you see me for pulling a prank on you all. The posters you see in the picture will be on sale here first, as soon as I find some nice tubes to ship them in. They are going to be 10$. The sweet banner you see dangling there will NOT be on sale, but, it will be dangling off the table at CCAG 2013 where we will be demoing the latest build of Atlantean and Inferno, and we will be selling Pyramid Plunder and Insanity, as always The proceeds from sales will be used to help fund the AbCard. Speaking of the AbCard, we will be posting the Protocade games and stuff on Aetherbyte.com very shortly as well. That way you can all check those out, and see what went into them. OBEY PCE. go go go!

These are just the games we're permitted to announce at this point in time. They are not necessarily all of the games we'll be releasing in 2013. -Tom Sweet! Good to hear!

Sweet, now the question begs, will the Vita have a price drop &/or a new model by fall? I've been holding out, partially due to just trying to play thru my large PSP collection, partially due to just saving money, but also partially due to wanting to wait for the inevitable upgrade. I'd like one with an official TV out for starters.

That's unfortunate. My brother owned Metroid Prime Corruption, however, after he gave his Nintendo Wii to me, I sold corruption and purchased Metroid Other M. It is a good game, but after reading reviews and players personal opinions of the game, I was surprised to find a large majority hated the game, particularly the voice acting. I enjoyed it though. I've been away from the Nintendo scene since the N64 era, so it was cool playing games like Other M, Skyward Sword, Super Mario Bros. Wii. Those beloved Nintendo games sure have come along way since the NES era. I loved Other M. It was a breath of fresh air compared to the Prime series for me. That's not saying it doesn't have flaws, it does! I mainly hated it when it forced you to find something at some point, & there was nothing else you could do, you'd just sit there in 1st person mode searching your brains out. In general though, just the gameplay alone is closer to classic Metroid. I've always been baffled about peoples complaints about the story. She's a flawed character, she's not Superman, & even he is flawed in various ways in this day & age. I see no problem with her experiencing any kind of fear at times....that's just life, it happens, sometimes when we least expect it! Sometimes things that we were strong about previously, we get weak about later on. It just happens. So if anything, I find the story(based on my memory) being more realistic to what we all deal with thruout life. Now, to clarify, I want to like the Prime games. I've tried, & will continue trying. I origially had the GC versions, couldn't get into them. So I got the trilogy, thinking it might be easier to get into them that way....but now I'm absolutely tired of motion gaming & especially the Wiimote. I get overjoyed when a Wii game comes out, that allows a regular controller, like the classic or GC controllers. I think it's mainly that I hate having to hold 2 controllers in my hands, rather then just one. Ofcoarse, I still loathe the idea of playing Metroid in 1st person. I've always been opposed to playing it as an FPA. I still think it'd work much better in 3rd person mode, if not done in 2D(which is my preference). I know I'm in the minority, but, meh, it's how I feell. But, as I say, I'm still gonna keep on trying to get into the Prime games, as the Metroid series is one of my favorites!

I feel the exact same way about every Rayman game after the original. Origins definitely tries its best to recapture the old magic and succeeds in very many ways, but even still, no game in the series afterward is nearly as colorful, as pretty, as musically catchy or pleasant, and gameplay-wise they all seem to be a rapid departure. The "lum singing" and cartoony nature of Origins feels like a step in the right direction, and gameplay-wise it's the closest (and most enjoyable) we've got since the original. All in contrast to the Rabbids titles, which suffer (at least, Rabbids:TiT did) from buggy gameplay and bland level design. Plus it seems they really tried to capture similar level types to the classic; a forest area, a music area, peaks, caverns, and food (though not candy this time) areas. In addition to the themed areas, there's also water areas, since Rayman can swim this time around. // I'm also glad I had the chance to demo the 3DS version first before deciding on a platform. The camera tends to zoom out WAY too much, making it very uncomfortable to play. For the Wii, it's just fine, particularly if you have a decent-sized screen to play it on. My wife n I are absolutely loving Origins! Frankly, I think it's better then the original. I've played thru most of the Jaguar & PS1 versions BITD, though, I've never been able to beat it sadly. I think my wife n' I will be able to beat Origins though. And man, just the music in the treasure chase levels(& the levels themselves) is reason to absolutely love Origins IMO

I'm playing Wonderboy in Monsterworld, but, some of the music seems very bland to me. I grew up playing Dynastic Hero, & have always LOVED the music in that game, so, I'm assuming that if I grew up with Wonderboy in Monsterworld instead, my love would be in reverse! I've thought about remaking all the WB in Monsterworld music as replacement tracks for Dynastic Hero, but, I'll probably never get around to it. Oh my god, is that the one where you're turned into various animals?? I loved that game way back when. <3 I just started playing my first ever LoH game, Zero no Kiseki Evolution. Haven't played much of it yet but it seems okay. I recognize several of the Seiyuu, of course, Miki Shinichirou... and the guy who does Lloyd's voice sounds like the guy who did Quon's voice in Towa no Quon and others. I'll have to look up his name; I can't remember what it was. Close, this is a sequal to that one. The one you mean is Wonderboy 3: Dragon's Trap on SMS, aka Dragon's Curse on the Turbo Grafx/PC Engine. It's one of my favorites as well. The one I'm playing, is technically the 5th Wonderboy game, called Wonderboy in Monsterworld on the Genesis/Mega Drive, aka Dynastic Hero on the Turbo Grafx/PC Engine.

I beat Double Dragon Neon on all 3 difficulties, which is a rarity for me. That game is great! I just have 1 more trophy I'm aiming for, the one with the maxed out tapes, I'm pretty much there. The ones I won't bother with are the multiplayer ones, since my wife isn't too much into brawlers.

Really looking forward to Jungle Bros., assuming we get it out in 2013, but, depending on how things go, could be early 2014. Same goes for Dragon Arm, but, I'm not sure how long it'll take me to do the music. I already am working in the background on it, but haven't done anything proper.
Also looking forward to Aetherbyte's releases, Pyramid Plunder & Atlantean, & anything else that ends up released next year.
Also looking forward to the new Lock n' Chase clone coming out next month for Turbo!

They point the finger mainly at video games, but it's not just that. It's games, music, movies, & increasingly greedy, selflish, & impatient attitudes. I think these things combined do have an effect on us, but especially youngling's. I'd like game violence(or realism there of) in games to not keep increasing, but, some people just plain love violence, & game companies have to keep topping eachother to keep making money. Same with music, movies. Everyone's gotta top everyone, it's a never ending cycle. But, even with that, I think people are getting spoiled & impatient by technology in general. Maybe I'm wrong, but it just seems like people want everything now, myself included, compared to how things used to be. Now we can get on the internet on our phones & communicate with anyone anywhere at anytime, & I think that is also having an effect on people, among other things.

Read a talk from the scientist who original wrote the paper on the Mayan calender cycle ending today. He said that nowhere do the Mayans mention an end of the world or apocalypse in reference to their calender cycle ending. Everyone knows the world ends tomorrow (12/22) because nobody will be expecting it Exactly! Plus, where are all these survivalists getting their faith from, have the Mayan's been a reputable source of any kind of prophecies. Ofcoarse, the Bible does say the world will end "like a theif in the night" so....but then, just the fact that you say it'll be the 22nd makes it not happen, since that is now in expectation! I do believe this world won't last forever, even if it's by man's own hands with pollution & war, if not by a creator who's just plain tired of all the pollution & war. If there's no God or god's or goddesses etc., then we'll certainly nuke ourselves one of these days.
