Well Keba-sama, here's another good point where the theory is proven that humans are lazy. We think now that we have it so good that games, tv, cell phones, internet, etc. are the only things that matter. People out there just may die if these things were taken away because they know nothing else. Whether it be the only thing they were ever exposed to or the fact that they're to lazy to go outside and do something to help the human race and the earth or themselves in the matter. So what would happen? Well companies would go out of buisness, sotck market wouldn't be as high, children, teens and adults wouldn't be as husky as a lot of them are [not referring to the one's who can't help it, with the medical conditions. Only to the one's who use that as an excuse because in all truth they are to lazy] and there would be a lot more people outside doing things creativly. Hm sounds like a plan, let's end all gaming companies and computer companies and see what would really happen and who would get a darwin award because they're despratly pathetic.

lmao oh that is good really good, but you do have a point about it. some people would probrably go insane if games were taken away me i wouldnt really care it would just be something new and such. but as for the people out there who can tlive without it i pity them and hope that they have a quick death honestly but we all know they wont die they will just complain over and over again people STOP PLAYING GAMES. wel ljust for a little while even myself i enjoy the ocasional halo2 on xbox live for a break from reality so anywayz yea i guess im in no position to say anything lol

I know what you mean. Luckily I spend a lot of time drawing and trying to do some running. Buying game music is my current favorite hobby. I have to say though if I wasn't on a computer, I couldn't buy game music how I would like too. I think time outside is what all of us need. I love coming up with stories and concepts for comic books, another one of my loves. I think the world would be better without computers sometimes because they can limit real interaction with other people. I dreaded going to public school but I wouldn't want to attend some kind of online school. We need to interact with others to get along in my opinion.
That's my two cents. Anyway, great idea for a thread and I think it is ideal for a bunch of people who enjoy Ys games.

lol....Just like with me and Gaia keba-sama. It's not that hard to stop something. But people make it out to be so hard. I DON'T feel sdorry for anyone addicted and i'd kill them myself cause they piss me off. But not you Keba-ai.

thanks for the compliment man. actually if you want the truth i have no idea what a y game is i was just looking for some good anime music when this came up and looked intresting. so yea i guess it is good to have computers and such i love downloading music to add to my working when i draw or am writing a story for a roleplay or something. so i guess computers are not that bad even tho some people can take it a little to far at times and just sit there at the computer for days without eating or anything like that. i think that is pretty sad and i feel bad for the people who cant get a thrill out of life without using a computer or a game system

thats also true, i know what you mean you can do to much on the computer and forget about life or you can spend to much time with your life and end up gettting seriously hurt. i guess in the end it might just depend on what you think is the best thing to do i guess. lets just hope people can make mistakes and not be pricks or anything of the such when you tell them you want them to join you at the park or go for a walk. i know somebody like that its not to cool.

If video games didn't exist it wouldn't change my life much, I probably only spend a few hours a month playing them, if that. Probably read more instead.
If the internet didn't exist I'd go back to buying albums without hearing them first, and definitely would read more.

If video games didn't exist it wouldn't change my life much In my case, it definitely would, since I wouldn't be born in the first place. So I'm really glad that video games DOES exist. How is that possible... Is your father.... an MSX?

How did that happen? That your parents met because of video games? That's interesting.
Anyway, I would like to take the high road and say I could live without games, that they're a crutch for the lazy and whatnot, but I'm realistic. I needs my video games. Video games and cable television are my "escapes" when I'm feeling stressed and just need to tune out. Life would definitely be less fun without games.

I agree with Snapple.
If video games didn't exist at all, nobody would be affected in that way - of course. But if they stopped to exist, it would definitely become a little empty.
I don't play video games that much these days, and when I was younger, I didn't care for them at all. Star Tropics for the NES changed that. I loved video games after that - and Ys changed it even more - it was my first RPG and after that, I loved every RPG I could get ahold of - even the bad ones. RPGs were rare at that time (in Sweden).

I believe that video games are a much better form of entertainment than television. My wife and I don't even have TV. We play video games instead. I like the feeling of acomplishment that I have when I've completed a game.
