Not to mention 1 by Konami, 1 by Mastiff, and 3 by Namco-Bandai. Napishtim doesn't 100% count on that list due to restrictions near the very end of the project; if you count Konami's PS2/PSP translation, that's good too. Don't forget Typing of Ys.
Ys I & II Complete Ys IV: The Dawn of Ys Ys IV: Mask of the Sun Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim Ys: The Oath in Felghana
You were saying?
Well, I meant "current". They've all been "current" for quite some time now... And where can I find fan translations of Ys VI and F? A completed fan translation = an AVAILABLE fan translation. And by available, I mean that you can download it without someone yelling at you if they find out about it.
It would be nice if a translation patch for Zweii!! was ever released. All the more reason for me to try and get it! (Because otherwise, even if I do get it, I doubt I'll ever get round to playing it... ) Translation patches (or translations) seem like a work of wonder to me though! :'D Its... amazing that someone would actually do all this work for others for free!
I just recently got to try Typing of Ys though! X'D I be so horridly bad! I can never make it beyond the third level! (Though... I was extremely delighted that I managed to get a B in the first level once by accident! O shock! )

Ah, the old Zwei!! patch. It started on RIGG (Nightwolve's old website), with a guy named "Galious". He was a professional translator and NightWolve gave him some tools to start working on the script translation. I think he did like 15% (?) of the translation the last time he took contact with NW but we never heard of him again after a few months had passed.
Hi, i started to work on a translation for this game (pc), or at least some basic analysis for starting the hacking-part. As far as i know there is no english localization (so far?) from falcom available or planned, so i think some would like to get an english translation for this really great game. Any thoughts about this?
Well there are 2 different official translations for Ys VI, and that didn't stop the current Ys VI PC project from happening. I would like to see this happen, because I am a happy owner of the game, even though its not in my house yet.
Zwei!! is another game that I'd be totally willing to translate at some point. Really, I'll translate all of Falcom's PC games one by one, so long as there's a good hacker out there to make patches out of my work! Xanadu Next is still technically underway, but I haven't heard from Rasqual in a long time now, so I have no idea how far he's come toward successfully hacking the game.
I imagine it's probably the same situation with the Zwei!! fan-translation project. Probably a bunch of doe-eyed young hopefuls getting together to work on it, but just never making any progress due to various parties drifting away...
Cool! Very glad to hear that there is some interest in translation projects for Zwei!! and Xanadu Next. I just recently ordered both of these, and they both look like really fun games. People have been telling me that I need to play Xanadu Next for years now... Now I'll finally be getting around to it! : )
I *will* translate Xanadu Next, one way or another. Believe, yo.
That's really cool that you are so passionate about translating it. Once the game arrives, I'd be happy to help you with your project if you need additional help. I worked on some minor menu graphics for Nightwolve's Felghana patch awhile back.

Wyrdwad, if you don't mind my asking, what specifically would you be looking for from those willing to help the Xanadu Next translation project along? I'm also curious to know what progress has been made so far, that is unless it is confidential. : 0
Same question goes for anyone who is currently working on or interested in working on Zwei!!
