Didn't know there was a after war X, but have finished Zgundam, just wished the dubbing didn't suck so much. Nice workplace, will show you mine very soon. Sazabi is too big to fit in my room.

Sure is dood, its kinda like Gundam Airmaster from After War Gundam X. I gotta start picking up 00 models, before they become an online only purchase. The Blitz is done Most of the black was spray painted, but it only because I had to use up the last of what I had, I won't spray anymore. The rest was pretty simple, and because the Gundam was so dark, I didn't have to do any detailing whatsoever. Kind of a nice break, and I actually found this Gundam really fun to build. Up next..... Duel Gundam 1/100 HG

Its from Gundam Seed, and the pilot is Nikol Amarfi (The young green hair dude). He is a part of the Zaft team that steals the first 4 Gundams.
Its at :36 and :49,

ha ha totally. So I ended up finding some Gundam models I did a long time ago, so I gave them a dust off, and thought I'd post those till I get a new model going. I also went shopping today, so make sure to check out the "latest purchases" topic too.

I dont even think they have a "grade", I think Bandai stopped "grading" the 1/144 sets a while ago. They were some of the first I ever did, so I added some lines and cleaned them up a bit.

Well I'm almost finished with Sazabi, Just need to paint on some place and the decals. Do you know how to put the decals on? I only get one transfer sheet and don't want to mess up.

Its simple, yet complex at the same time. Always cut out the decal you need with the hobby knife. Scotch tape is your best friend for the next part, as you stick the outside to the tape, and use the tape to align the decal on the model properly. Make sure the tape has a good hold on the model, and there is no space for air between the decal and model. Take a spoon, or blunt small end ie back of knife, paint brush, lighter you get the picture. Rub and dont stop rubbing, and make sure you do it in all different directions. When peeling off the tape DO IT FROM ONE SIDE ONLY, because if the decal did not transfer completly, you can just lay the tape back down, and repeat process, without overlaping a broken decal. Once you get the hang of it, it is pretty simple to do, but it can seem overwhelming at first. I couldn't see any easier way for it to be done, and it really makes it look great.
I am excited to see your model when its done, and let me know how it goes with the decals.

Toothpicks and small blunt metal rods work best as well. Anyways, here's Astray Blue Frame Second L The hardest thing about this guy is when you have his main artillery attached to its back, he's a pain to keep him standing straight. Even a gundam stand couldn't hold him up right. BTW Justinzero, saw you got a model from Macross! Exactly what company makes those and if you know any online store that sells them because I plan on acquiring a model of the YF-19 from Macross Plus. Thanks in Advance.

The YF-19 is SUPER ASS HARD TO FIND. I have tried hard to find it, and it is possible. There is a YF-21 at the model store down the street so Ill ask him if he can order, or what company makes them now. AFAIK its Bandai, that took over and they are in the process of remaking all the old models. Problem with Macross models is there is no instructions....ever (Not sure about the Bandai packs though). UPDATE - I found this site that may interest you, as it really made me happy (Look at all the instructions!!) www.macrossworld.com/macross/models/_models_plastic.htm

I'll try to finish Sazabi around this weekend hopefully. Sorry I haven't posted for a while either, I was busy too ! I shouldn't have got Metallic cause there is no paint for it if there's scratches. Expect images soon Do I use hot water or cold for decal or did you meant lighter fluid?

Oh yes there is!!! Try to check out Tamiya's website, or hit up a hobby shop. If you can't find it a metallic red (I know they have them dude) then buy a bottle of silver, and a bottle of Red. Mix them 20 to 80 and if it needs to be darker, then 10 to 90.

I would test it on a plastic spoon or some of the tree first. I hate those foil layers they put on the gundams, because they are IMPOSSIBLE to cut properly.

I found it in an online store and was wondering if its worth buying? I'll try looking for paints still. How about metallic red gloss?
