Well, I suppose asking for DX10 implementation is still a long ways... but damn DX9 still looks good!
MUST BUY!!! And I'll throw in Zwei as well.
And yeah Norio Wakamoto's voice is awesomely hilarious as usual.

And yeah Norio Wakamoto's voice is awesomely hilarious as usual. Sorry mister, but there's virtually no difference between DX9 and 10. It's mostly a marketing ploy. And it bothers me to no end that Falcom's still living in the 90's. Stop being so cheap with webspace, damn it! As for the trailer... I was not lazy clicking the mute button. The voice, the music... nasty!  It looks kind of fun though. |

I hate all trailer voices, regardless of language. I don't get why people use them, or even like them.

You hate a lot of things. I think you hate more things in life than I do! DDD:
Here are my impressions! :D
- the BAGPIPE (or whatever that instrument is holding the long notes) in the background music is GRATING.
- narrator is okei!
- the boss battle with the dragon thing looked neat!
- ending of trailer is cute ^o^ *CHOMP!*
- happy to see the system's still pretty much the same as the first game, including the pets! Looks like you can choose from 2 more now!? ^O^
Awwwww, only a CD? Even Zwei!! had *2* CDs. YER GETTIN' CHEAP, FALCOM! I wonder of the Korean release (IF they'll be getting one) will have a crap ton of stuff again? XD
Guess I'll put in my pre-order today. :E

Ah good, thanks. I was half expecting them to do what they did with Vantage Master Portable. Also lol, bit off on the filesizes aren't they? Had the LQ trailer as 12mb when it's 5, and are now saying the HQ one is 60mb when it's... 10. |

Cool how the environments are all placed in the sky. Sort of similiar to Ys 2's environments. I hope it gets a console port and comes booted with a Ys VII demo.

I'm using Firefox as well. My guess is, you just need to do the right-click and save-as thing on the 4gamer page, as left-clicking didn't work for me either. -Tom So am I, and left clicking worked fine for me ;o |

So I finally took a look at that trailer and... meh god! It looks so good!! I didn't mind the music at all by the way (but then I'm half deaf anyways). What I heard of it atleast. Mister was talking so much (not a word of which I naturally understood!) that it was pretty distracting. But it looks so cute and the airplanes look so good! Hem... this is probably the only game after Ys that I feel tempted to get even if it is in Japanese (though it seems like the story will make up atleast half the fun so there's not much use in me getting this, right?). I wonder if there's any hope in wishing an English version might come out one day...? [Actually, I suppose had there been more goodies offered with it, I might just have been tempted enough to try pre-ordering it...] |

Now if it got ported over to a console that would be heavenly! Ok, I'm willing to wait for the next couple of years! Or atleast, wait for you gus to finish and read your rave reviews before going off on a rash shopping escapade! Its just that... it looks like a game who's story is bound to be good! - If not an Ys game, then the next title Falcom ports to PSP will be the original Zwei!!. Now THAT would be amazing! That is, if Falcom decided to port another Ys game! (I might stop even whining away for Zwei II!). Even more amazing if its Origin! (Eh heh heh... what wishful thinking! *kicks self* ) I can't hear any bagpipes that you guys are arguing about, by the way.  |
