I just did this to se what people like most The Simpsons or South Park.. so what is your answer?  EBS: "Simpson" was annoying. I modified it. |

Yes ofcourse i like Simpson too..  But South Park is not so bad.. i usualy watch it.. and Cartman is the best figure in South Park and in the Simpson ofcourse Homer..  Or what do you say  |

Well, I don't really like South park. It is worth watching, but I never usually watch it. I like the Simpsons a lot, tho. I watch it every time whenever they show some new episodes, since I have seen the old ones countless of times!

south park had a good first season and half a good second season then the writers ran out of ideas.
Simpsons are going strong for almost 15(?) years and is the longest running show on television, perhaps the history of television(not counting shows like the tonite show or letterman)

Probably Simpsons, with South Park I can see the boys becoming redundant in their jokes and clichés. While as the Simpsons are...not so boring  It's always fun to watch, doesn't matter what episode. |

well, someone voted for south park, so you cant say they have zero support. But the simpsons have been so good for so long. South Park movie was pretty good tho and I havent seen any films from the simpsons(dunno if any exist or not)

I voted for Southpark, I find it alot more funny. Also the comparison to the Simpsons can only be made on the surface, for the most part it's a different show. Southpark is more of a satire on real world issues, current events. For example last weeks episode was all about Mel Gibson and the Passion. The creators are very good about taking an issue, getting their point across, but disguising it so it's still something funny. Plus the gratiuitous swearing makes my immature side giggle.

I find South Park better too, and I don't think they ran out of ideas, because a south park epsiode only takes a couple of weeks to make they are more up to date with international issues (mostly political, like Irak and stuff).
they also push the borders of what can and what can't be shown on US television. Kyle's mom says it the best in the south park movie; "Grafic and horrible violence is ok, as long as they don't say any naughty words"...
In europe and especially in the Netherlands (South Park used to be on at 6 pm, to bad they stopped). soap commercials for instance over here have totally nude woman in it. sometimes you even see the (...), and not just the chest.

oh yea, first thing I noticed when I went to England was the newspaper... I think it was the Sun (not sure if it's a tabloid or newspaper) but 2nd page is a topless, hot, naked chick....  actually, some didn't look that great... lol |

thats true, were scared more if someone is shot in a bloody and gory wan in a tv-show then that a woman shows her twins...but nudity is something normal, every one is birn naked why be shamed about it if you have a nice figure? beating someone up can lead to more violence...nudity leads to...more sex? is that wrong?

Haha for some reason, that sounds weird... and make sense at the same time! Back on topic... Simpsons is ok but they're starting to run out of ideas or something... South Park... funny but you can only take South Park with limited dose. You seriously canNOT have a South Park marathon.... Do people like Futurama? I thought that was great... just too bad it's over, it was rather funny |

Futurama was good to, another series that got canceled was Family Guy. that was insanely funny (I got season 1&2 on DVD ) luckely they are going to continue the series next year. It's the first series that's going to be restarted because of the DVD releases sale, the sales were so good that they decided to make another season (season 4). But Fry and Bender of Futurama were cool too, they still air it overhere on Sunday afternoon (i'll quit posting for now because it starts in a couple of minutes ) |
