Gladiator, Monsters Inc. (It's such a cute movie ), Beauty and the Beast cause it's classic... actually all of Pixar animation movies... I can't wait to see The Incredibles. Spiderman 2 was good, better then the 1st... Tomb Raider 2 is actually good... unlike the 1st one... hahaha

a small list of my favo movies (no particular order): Pulp Fiction, The Godfather, Lord of the Rings, Matrix (just part 1, others suck badly), Terminator 1 & 2, Forest Gump (works well with the ladies ), Birds (original), Psycho (original), Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, American History X (one of my favorites), Bowling for Columbine, Fahrenheit 9/11 (Roger Moore Rules), Akira, Ghost in the Shell, Apocalipse Now (original), Alien (all) I haven't seen any movies who get the title of "Classic" lately, it's more of bad sequel mania (Spidey 2, Matrix 2/3). And Lord of the Rings is one story divided into three movies, and I'm talking about the extended DVD versions, they are a lot better and a lot more true to the books than the cinema versions. Cool Films in the Near future: -Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocense (sequel to the best anime) -Final Fantasy: Advent Children (sequel to the best game EVER, yeah it's better than Ys -sorry-) -Resident Evil: Apocalipse (Milla is hot and RE is awesome)

Empire has everything. Great action, a much darker feel than the others, strong emotions and the best movie soundtrack written. The carbon freezing chamber scene is one of the greatest scenes in movies ever in my opinion with the dramatic lighting and powerful score (although it doesnt give me shivers like in some Ghibli movies). Sure it has it's faults, but is one amazing film regardless.

the new star wars movies suck so frikin bad...even though the effects were nice I dissagree. I think the movies are pretty good, but the effects aren't the best (but hey, the first movie is about 30 years old!) I can't complain. I haven't seen Attack of the clones yet though.

I've seen the star wars attack of the clones...I mean the animation was pretty good but compared to the first one and the old ones, it's second rate...(in my opinion.) I also enjoyed the movie castle in the sky...

the last two star wars movies sucked pritty bad, especially part one, that had outdated special effects (mainly because Matrix 1 was released just before it). and the story's aren't that good either. I'm gonna watch episode 3 though where Anakin truly becomes Darth Vader.

I've seen all, and the effects aren't bad nor outdated THAT'S THE FACT. When they did those movies they used the most newest technology they had.
The reason you say it's second-grade & outdated is because you have familiarized yourself with todays technology. It is the same as watching Anime from the 70-80's and then watching 2005's animes - there is a huge diffrence between them, but in this case it works diffrently -reversed in other words: What is hyper-good today is second rate compared by 30years ago. Back then, they obtained pure skills, nowdays anyone can make a 3d movie.
You understand my point?
Matrix, Always this Matrix. DO YOU ALL EVEN KNOW THAT MATRIX IS A TOTAL RIPOFF FROM A GENRE CALLED CYBERPUNK??? That is the thing that really buggs me, yes I do like the Matrix movies, but I hate those who did the movies. As I recalled when I saw a "Behind the scenes" they said this: "This is our idé, we came up with it and we haven't stealed this ide from anyone" - THat is just pure horses arse not a very nice person kinda way to say that. They took their ideas from books Written by William Gibson, Bruce Sterling and varius other Cyberpunk authors. I hate those two stealing-lying-wachowskin-brothers or whatever their name is.
And this IS A FACT!

Matrix, Always this Matrix. DO YOU ALL EVEN KNOW THAT MATRIX IS A TOTAL RIPOFF FROM A GENRE CALLED CYBERPUNK??? There is no such thing as a "rip-off of a genre". That's like saying Ys is a rip-off of RPGs. That's just stupid.

Oh ma, I got thiz!! THE LEGEND OF THE DRUKEN MASTER W/ Jackie Chan. Waaahhh!! This has got to be the one of the bombest movies ever! Well, face it, Jackie Chan movies never seemed to have a good storyline and solid plot, (except for Rush Hour movies :-P) but the action literally kicks Azz!!!
