Does it just have to be one? ^^;;
Well right now Kill Bill probably is my favorite, cool music, interesting plot and the action is pretty nice despite the geysers of blood.

Kill Bill, eh? It's an action movie I guess. I usually don't like those. But Kill Bill seems good, really. I'd like to see that one. And I'm DYING to see Mulholland drive, I am sure it's great. I have been about to buy it at many times.

I promise you haven't seen anything like them (except for other David Lynch movies) see them.... Blue Velvet was waaaaaayyy better than either of those.. I really didnt understande lost highway, and I understood the other lynch films, even eraserhead. I cant just pick one film, I will go by genre: sci fi: the rocky horror picture show... ok just checking if you were paying attention. Seriously, I would say E.t. very groundbreaking. Either that or maybe donnie darko drama: geez this is tough, maybe short cuts. comedy: mel brooks' frankenstein. gotta love the frankenstoofer( ) action any of the indiana jones movies... honorable mentions go to: bladerunner, the big labawski, Ran(gotta throw a kurosawa film in there)

Oh, i thought "blue velvet" was rather boring... I have a pretty good idea what "lost highway" is about, though. I think that's the funny thing about Lynch movies, that you don't really understand them.
And... "Donny Darko", as you mentioned dracula, is a very good movie.
And... "kill bill", Dahlia, i haven't seen it but i bet it is good, all Tarantino movies i've seen has been good. (even though i don't like action otherwise)

OK stefan, what the heck is lost highway about? Pornstars and parallell dimensions? How do the musician and mechanic(the main characters) switch bodies? How does the girlfriend/wife of the main chars switch bodies? What does d!ck melent (the smut peddler) have to do with all of them? What does the lost highway have to do with any of it? This is just scratching the surface of things.

Well, i have solved faaar from everything, besides, i think this movie isn't really thought to be "solved". I think Lynch wants everybody to make an own picture of what's happening. I've seen Lost Highway over 10 times and have only vague theories, like that most people in the movie are both real and symbols of emotions. However, if you are interested there are lots of interpretations by people on the net, but Lynch refuses to tell any clues, or anything.

so it has to do with road rage and such emotions? If you have any theories, lets hear them!

well... i think that Pete(the Mechanic) is some kind of "alter ego" for Fred(the musician), Pete has the life Fred always wished to have. And the link between those worlds would be that mysterious pale man (without eyebrows). He's some symbol too, like for "Reality" or "Jealosy" (i think both of them work, in diffrent ways).

wow, i always figured the mysterous pale guy was the grim reaper. In the beginning, the pale guy is talking to fred at the party, and then he says,"I am at your house right now" and hands him a cell phone and fred dials and sure enough, there he is...
Someone at the party says the pale guy is friends of D!ck Melent, yet later, the pale guy kills D!ck melent, for no obvious reason(except to save fred) which didnt make any sense at all imo.
The movie did have some good music, but I still dont understand what was going on.

Yeah, it makes no real sense to me either, in the end when the pale man kills "Dick Laurent" (that's his name). (Have you noticed that they call him "Dick Laurent" in some contexts and "Mr Eddy" in some other...). I havent't found out who this Dick Laurent really is or what he symbolises.
And in the beginning when Fred calls home... "Jealosy" works for the pale man, because, he also say: "You invited me, it's not my custom to go where im not wanted". Because actually you "choose" to be jealous. But my other interpretation of the pale man being "Reality" doesn´t really work for that reply.
And yes, it is great music in this movie (as with all other Lynch movies).
Ah.. i can talk about this movie for ever.

I need to watch that movie again
