Whoa Batman and megaman? WHOA!!! Okay my turn TEST ANIMATIONI arranged the frames wrong but I was too lazy to start over especially since this is merely a test animation (I don't wanna ink and color until I can tell that she's actually walking). So I made her do a backwards walk (moonwalk? LOL). Note that I'm a graphic designer and not an animator. I'm merely guessing how this animating thing works.... and surprisingly I think it looks good!!! I'm so so happy^^ No I'll print the images out (13 frames) and trace them since I thought it'd be faster that way. I hope my mid term project turns out well. I'm so excited XD Anyway enjoy the short clip^^  |

I can't wait to see more, that is too cool!   This is a Batman & Robin design tweak I was working on this morning. It's kind of an attempt at "if I was drawing Batman, what would he look like?"  |

Only complaint: Robin looks too short in my opinion. He a teenager, not a five-year old.

That particular Robin is inspired by Tim Sale's version, who draws him at a similar height , that's why I drew him so short. I guess it won't fly with the fans.  |

I'm so excited XD Anyway enjoy the short clip^^ indeed she's doing a moonwalk, but the movement itself is smooth, and that is the most important thing, real animation studio's use 24 frames per second to ensure smoothness. if you want to continue on the walking you could consider using cells. more info on animation techniques: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Traditional_animation |

SKETCHBOOK TIME Everchanging Melody As the name implies, I drew this while humming some random melody that popped from my mind. This is just random lines I drew over and over until it looked like "something". Is it a dragon? Is it a ship? What's bizzare is what you're seeing now is the original image upsidedown. When I flipped it into what you're seeing now I noticed that it looked like a swordsman riding a humanoid dragon/bird thing. Coincidence? |
