And if you're in school, what program are you taking? :3
Let's see how diverse we are! ^o^~
I have a degree in Web design but not professionally certified as I never took my CIW exams (http://www.ciwcertified.com/). I am currently working in the logistics field in a division of UPS and bouncing back and forth between putting computer parts into the inventory database and taking proof of delivery info from drivers.
No, I can't get your packages faster to you since I don't work for UPS *Brown*. :P

Computer support technician is the title. What it means is basically .. uh, I give computer support (hardware + software) to Hewlett Packard customers. I love my job!

Any anecdotes or horror stories you can share with us? XD I think tech support folks usually have the best stories about human stupidity. :3
Incidentally, I used to work in retail and if anyone wants stories of PURE RAGE, I can certainly point you to my MANY LiveJournal entries about the dipshits that did shopping at the store I worked at.

I'm a 'Key Accounts Specialist' in the merchant servicing division at Discover Card. The overall job entails a lot of different tasks-- basically just taking care of changes, requests, and so on for large national chains like Target, Macy's, Amazon.com, etc that accept the Discover credit card.
Not near as important as it sounds-- but it can be interesting, suffice to say. =P Especially when reviewing dispute claims made by cardmembers. ("I didn't make that purchase! Rawr!") ^^;
Also going to school (college)... at a ridiculously slow pace, alas.

I'm at my last (crossing fingers) year at school. (Guess where.) I'm getting paid to work on my computer engineering thesis on using an FPGAs to model the spread of a virus through billions of cells in super-real-time. In September, I'll be working for EDO-EVI as a "Firmware Engineer." They make small, embedded electronic devices for classified customer. I think it's mostly communication stuff. They have yet to tell me who the customer is.

I deal with ingrates, old people, morons, idiots, people who can't count, read or write and wonder how on earth so many can exist in one location and the universe simply not devour them in self defense.
In other words: I'm a cashier. XD

I go to high school... well I'm actually home schooled. I'm in 11th grade and I plan to graduate so that I may go on to do better things with my life (and show a lot of people that said "All your good for is stripping!" that they were wrong.) I do however plan to get a job after I get my drivers license this Summer. That is if I can pass the test to get my license this Summer.

I'm just a high school senior right now, awaiting responses from colleges (got accepted to two so far, but neither are top choices for me).

Cool, home schooling rules! I wasn't home schooled, but I got really lucky in High School. For my last two and a half years I was able to attend school at a teaching museum. It was an experiment at the time. As far as I know not many have had the privilege. It was very much like home school, and the teacher I will never forget.
Anyway, right now I work somewhere overnight. It's not bad, but I only plan on staying there a little while.

I'm a localization manager, work for a game company, oversee translation projects for most of our french releases.
I also have a figurehead position in the family business(metals brokerage), I'm incredibly knowledgeable about the field, I just don't do it fulltime anymore.

I'm probably the only one. I'm in the military, United States Marine Corps. My field of specialty is Logistics, I basically stand under helicopters and hook up cargo to them while they try to smash me and my fellow Marines. Also, in case Marines in our field aren't needed we fall back onto our secondary MOS (job) which is basic Marine rifleman, we get to play cowboys and indians, except it's for real. I have yet to see duty across the pond in the sandbox, but I've got a feeling my time is coming up. Example 0481 Marines:

I used to be a tester like Wyrdwad. I had 3 testing gigs before I finally fought and clawed my way to becoming a game designer.
Being a tester was pretty darn soul-destroying compared to my design job. I'm not the "idea woman" who sit around and thinks of games all day. I do plenty of "druge" work like altering massive data sheets to tune difficulty, etc, but it's far more rewarding than any other job I've had.
Not that I'vd had many jobs...

I'm a senior estimator for a masonry subcontractor. The work is either boring or stressful, and is not mentally rewarding in any sort of way. It started as a part time job in college and when I graduated I just started showing up every day. It pays well and I can buy more custom basses than entirely necessary, so most of the time I'm (somewhat) okay with it. I'd rather be a writer. Rather, a writer who gets paid. Technically speaking I do a lot of writing.

At the moment, I'm working at a library, but just enough to hold me over until I have enough money to start a FullSail education. Which involves saving up for a bus ticket, taking a tour of the facility, asking questions about the program, etc. etc. etc.
