Oh man, I didn't even know Rush had a new single out. Awesome. And that piano piece was amazing, sushi. I have to give the rest of her stuff a listen!

Probably the best thing I've heard from C78 so far, and it isn't even Touhou! Not even an arrange of anything, in fact. Original music~
I've had this song on loop all day. D:

Scream is pretty shitty, retardedly genre savvy crap. It's not even that funny!
But yeah, I like horror movies!

What did you think of the Amityville Horror remake? I loved it, even though Ryan Reynolds is usually a comedian, I believe he played his role VERY well! I haven't seen the Nightmare on Elm Street remake. I wanted to, even though I've heard a lot of terrible things about it.

I can't say much about the trailer just yet, dial-up is so wonderful. As for The Ring, I didn't find that one so much memorable -- not the American version, at least. I can't speak for the original. The Skeleton Key wasn't really... horrifying, but it did have a sense of adventure, which I liked. I haven't seen The Orphanage. I liked the Haunting in Connecticut, though I missed a few parts (fell asleep, accidentally). Paranormal Activity was AWESOME for a movie of its particular style -- it didn't let itself get bogged down, but the filming techniques actually added to it! I stuck around for both endings, and I don't particularly favor one over the other; they're both chilling. I *HATED* the Blair Witch Project; it felt like it was trying to be a documentary with ZERO content, much like watching a show on the Discovery Channel about Big Foot and that junk -- and in the end, you never see Big Foot or any of the mythical monsters, the documentary just wastes your time, just like the Blair Witch Project! D: Except the Blair Witch Project is worse, because they practically SHOVE the flashlight up their noses and get a LOT of close-ups on those flaring nostrils as they're screaming and going "WHAT'S THAT?!" and trying to act all terrified. If I wanted to watch that, I'd go see my friends in the woods when they're drunk or high; they're SLIGHTLY more entertaining than that junk would ever be!

I've heard of those, actually, I'll have to see those sometime! As well as Saw, actually; still never got around to that, no matter how often I've made that godawful "I wanna see Saw" pun. Speaking of Saw... it brings back memories of those damn parody movies. You know the type. Scary Movie 4, etc. Nowadays, you see people complaining about how awful Vampire Movie is. I take one look at them, and I think to myself "What, you didn't learn your lesson after Date Movie, or the Scary Movie series?" The only thing that was GOOD about Scary Movie 4, (which is thankfully the only one I've seen) was Dr. Phil -- go figure when I turned the movie off, and turned back to my only channel at the time, that Dr. Phil was actually on, and he was doing a show about abandoned kids -- the SAME EXACT show he was talking about during the movie! Outside of that hilarious coincidence, that, like most parody movies, blew. A *funnier* movie, however unintentional it may have been, was Final Destination 3. The one with the Disney kids on the rollercoaster. The deaths were so obscene, so obscure, so outrageous, and so hilariously contrived, that you couldn't help but laugh! I can't be the only one who thought that movie was more of a comedy than anything! Basically, all of the deaths made me think of good old Lemmings! It did offer a choose your path feature, but that didn't seem to do anything, actually! That seems to happen with a lot of DVDs that try to add cool features... I did catch parts of the first Final Destination, and from what I saw, it did seem pretty neat! Ugh... avoid Dark Harvest. I don't know how my friends end up buying it as a gift for their friends, or what inspired my parents to rent it once, but it's not even a B movie. If anything, it's more like... an F movie. If anything could've possibly been more of a waste of time than watching Scary Movie 4, or even the Blair Witch Project, it was that! Even the back of the case should be an indicator of how poor it really is! It's like the power glove, it's just so bad!

Really? I always loved The Naked Gun (but haven't seen the rest of those movies). We could all use a little more Leslie Nielson (Eh???) in our lives!

Speaking of music, Dream Theater no longer has Mike Portnoy. He left the band... Man, this is poop.

Yeah, I agree about DT going down the shitter, the last truly great album was probably SFAM, but it's still a shame.

I used to love Dream Theater. They never got better after Scenes from a Memory though(and how COULD you?) so I gave up
Also 9 days til I go see Titus Andronicus/Free Energy! So excited
Free Energy has a really cool 70's classic rock sound about them, and it's sad that a lot of people who have listened to them consider it a gimmick. Why should good music be a gimmick?
