www.youtube.com/watch?v=1L4iH89tjAMChrono Cross sampling rap spam! I physically freaked when I first heard this, but I quite like it now. Atleast it's not the usual "carz bitchez and moneyz" hip hop.

Interesting! It's not bad at all! I'm just not listening to the lyrics though. ^^; It's so fast and he has a heavy accent. XD One of my fave tunes from The Pillows~ I think I liked pretty much all their featured tracks in FLCL. In fact, that's how I discovered the group. I never really looked into their stuff much though. I used to own one of their albums but eventually sold it or gave it away. Their kind of music isn't stuff that I can just listen to any day. I gotta be in the mooood. ^^

Thought I would share something that's been stuck in my head for a good while now~
The opening synth really sells me on this number~ I'm sure there are some people who won't be sold on the vocals at first, but I think if you stick around for the chorus then you might find something you like!
I love the kind of Power Metal that knows not to go too far when it comes to the speed and tempo. You don't have to thrash to have an enjoyable mix of rock and metal after all~!

I like! Not as much as some other power metal I listen to, but it was pretty good. Did indeed start liking the vocals more once the chorus hit.

I absolutely love this song for some reason. There's a really nostalgic feeling to some of the bass lines and the organ parts in the background are nice and haunting. Plus Kozi has a really neat voice...it may not be for everyone, but it's unusual and has a very natural sound to it.
Kozi being one of the former guitar players for Malice Mizer, in case you were wondering.
Versailles. Like, my favorite Japanese band. Just really impressive all around. I'm REALLY glad I got to see them live before their original bass player died...

It's really quite a good story, you should give it a go sometime. I've only read the manga, though, so no idea if the anime is any good or not, nor how loyally it follows the manga plot.

I was a big fan of Yuu Watase when I was younger, although I never finished Fushigi Yuugi. I liked Ayashi no Ceres alot, though. The manga had a pretty neat plot, even if some elements of the story was just overly shoujo.

Okay, okay, so I know that the last time I posted a song, I said- "I love the kind of Power Metal that knows not to go too far" -but I'll admit that I'm a hypocrite, because that's the best reason for loving this song. It's so far gone that it probably reached escape velocity over the northern seabed somewhere. Just get a load of this stuff~ Now let me lay down some of those magical lyrics for you all... *Ahem* There between the eight suns right before the system Hazor shines the silent planet Alkor Zephyr is its name Surface made of magma of wide oceans and volcanos middle dusty regions where no trace of life is found From the space an ancient secret soon will mark this old world
In the southern region live the people of Iraklia descendants of peaceful ancient dynasty of Lor Between these a warrior destined to become the victim victim of a prophecy now lost between the stars He will be the astral rider prophecy's new fighterHOT DAMN, someone get Mr. Luca Turilli a publishing deal please? I mean, who here wouldn't read a book about that? I'm pretty sure that the first chapter would somehow end in something that looks like a Meat loaf cover from the early nineties... ...Yeah, there we go~

lol, I pretty much always knew Miaka was a complete idiot. Maybe that's why I didn't bother finishing it, lol. Well, that and the story's setting was never really my thing. Ayashi no Ceres, however, was modern day Japan and with lots of paranormal and stuff, so I enjoyed that part.

I guess maybe I'm just a huge sucker for ye olde fantasy, be it Japanese or Western. Modern settings seem to catch my eye a bit less. Sci-fi is okay, too. OH MAN SO. My grandmother showed me this song she heard on the Colbert Report, haha. She absolutely loves it. And I have to admit, it's pretty damn catchy.

Funny, this is just the style of music that I love. Kinda brings me back to the days of Motown... oh wait, I'm not THAT old. Might have to hear this "lady killer"'s other stuff sometime!

Also, Tomihito Nishiura is amazing. Really want to play Dark Cloud.

I should definitely pick it up, especially considering I like another game Level-5 made that nobody else seems to like.

Ah, you've never played it? That was one of my first PS2 games, and I still maintain it's actually BETTER than Dark Cloud 2, and one of the PS2's most inexplicably enjoyable experiences. I don't know WHY I enjoyed it as much as I did... but I really, really did! I found it fun and engaging the whole way through, and genuinely loved it. And I think part of the reason Dark Cloud 2 didn't work as well for me was because of the more realistic town-building. Simply put, I LIKE finding villagers, houses, rivers and other things inside giant spheres... but building them out of wood and other materials? BOOOOOOORING!! -Tom I really liked Dark Cloud too, actually. I never finished it though... I made it to the final boss whom I could never beat because he was ridiculously hard. That was a long time ago though, I suspect I could do it rather easily today, but alas, I no longer have a way of playing PS2 games.
