Is Doppiapunta still around here? It's like Meshuggah got crossed with Clawfinger of all things. I don't like either of those bands but I like this.

Oh shit, I didn't even know that was out. Totally checking it all out on the youtubes right now. Thanks for the heads up Wyrdy. Of the half I've heard: This might just turn out being one of my favorite Arjen albums ever. It's so much heavier than anything he's ever done, and so much more intense as a result, yet it still sounds so very Arjen. <3 much.

I didn't care for the first Star One either, this comes as a huge surprise, honestly. I wasn't quite expecting this, haha. I don't think there's a weak song on the entire album.

Holy shit, is that Russell Allen on the title track? DO LIKE!
It's kind-of a shame that I was never able to get into Ayreon, despite all the guest musicians, but I guess it'll happen eventually.
EDIT: "Human See, Human Do" is really damn good. I just might have to find this album. Also, Dan Swanö, HELL YES

More gushing for Star One: I must've listened to Victim of the Modern Age like 20 times today. Not only is it awesome, but it's based on A Clockwork Orange, easily one of my favorite films of all time. THis is a contender for favorite album of the year, haha.

Clockwork Orange is the only one I immediately recognized. Listening to it last night the lyrics jumped out at me when certain lines were sang, and I had to look it up to confirm. Wikipedia explains the origins of each track. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Victims_of_the_Modern_AgeI've only heard of 7 of those, myself, and I've only seen 3, haha. 4, if we count having read 1984. Loved the book to bits, but never saw the film.

Who does these arrangements? I want to get an ovary transplant and be artificially inseminated with the man's nut sauce.

Good grief. It seems impossible to find an mp3 of this tune that's higher than 128 kbps. >_>
Of course, they're an indies band which makes looking for the freakin' album to purchase a chore.

Oh yay. Found the name and singer of one of the most annoying songs of 2010! indiebon.blogspot.com/2010/12/most-annoying-songs-of-2010.htmlThe first one -- Only Girl (in the world) by Rihanna I mean, fuck, I must have heard it at least 5 times on the same station one day at work. It probably played more than that but I wasn't listening during those times. ERGH. I think I'll change it to the Hindi-Punjabi station next time since I've yet to encounter a song I loathe on that. Anyway, I agree withe the first 4 picks on that blog. Radio stations should be blown up for playing them.

For a synth-only arrangement made by a fan, this is... actually pretty damn good.

Who knows maybe someone watched the new version of the Green Hornet on theatres. But the actor that played Kato is more known for his singing. Even if you don't like the song, the music video is awesome.

So I finally decided to get around to doing some Arcturus "music video". Check out the crappy photo of the CD! XD I wanted something different than the usual "here is a pretty photo from the game" or the album cover. :3
I don't care of y'all think this tune sucks. It will be one of my favourite gaming tracks forEVAAAHHHH!!
I just wish that the video for Astenuu Tjodalv would process already. >:/
Ah, thar we go~

I rather like that first Arcturus track, personally. Have some doujin circle stuff I've been into lately, complete with Engrish titles. Rokugen Alice! Bouncy la-la-laing that turns into a tango sometimes. And here we have shades of Nightmare Before Christmas in a big way....

Ack. ^^ JORKER!? ^^;;;;; Man, the second tune is so upbeat and fun! I ... can do without the singing though. ^^; Hirm! That group does pretty spiffy music! :o Might have to check out some of their other stuff on teh YouTubesss. Anyway, shoved all the Arcturus tunes into a playlist. :B www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=B3D36A3442796D99Please enjoy. OTL (Currently going through disc 1 to see if there's anything good there. I DO like Holy City Baara though so I might upload that. Gotta take a silly photo of the disc soon~ XD Well, that was a bust. The first disc is pretty much one big yawn. It's pretty incredible how LITTLE of the soundtrack I like. I mean, the thing has 85 freakin' tracks. Well, 82 + 3 bonus tracks that are just different versions of the opening theme. 9___9 Not gonna bother with Baara. :P)
