This game has the most diverse and METAL soundtrack I've heard in a while.
I've also been jamming out to Jenkees on the youtubes lately. I absolutely love this man. I need to buy his album very soon. The money would be well spent. He deserves every penny.

You sure that song's from Advance Wars, bro? That's... actually pretty freaking sweet. And much heavier than anything I'd expect from a SRPG.
I take back my Album of the Year statement.
It transcends classifications.
Although it would be great if Emptiness Unobstructed didn't have 20 choruses.

Definitely from Advance Wars. The heavier soundtrack fits the darker nature of the game, though. The first 3 felt a bit cutesy and fantastical in comparison. Definitely check the OST out, though. Brenner, Forsythe, Penny and Tabitha are probably my favorite themes. ~~Also, She Comes in Colors is probably my favorite of those 3. First two didn't really click with me, but the sound of that one was pretty awesome. I'm afraid I'll have to disagree and throw my album of the year up, though. Shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone, really. I've been waiting to hear this album for yeaaaaarrrrrrsssssss. It's different from thier past affairs in terms of musicality. The quality is all there and Daniel's voice is as powerful and emotive as ever, but this is a very bluesy kind of album for the most part. You can see a lot of classic influence here! There are a couple tracks that go in a completely different direction, though. "Sisters" in particular is so... beautifully melancholic. I absolutely love it.

Ashurei: She Comes in Colors is pretty much one of the best things they've ever written, it's a shame it had to be so short. It brings back some vibes of Dreaming Neon Black (their masterpiece), which is ALWAYS a good thing. I like Without Morals mostly for the vocals and solo, and Emptiness Unobstructed is just so very different for them--probably the poppiest song they've ever written, even more so than Believe in Nothing. In any case; I might just order Road Salt One soon, although I'm disappointed at the lack of a t-shirt to go along with it. I should probably fill my Pain of Salvation quota soon. x3 Lunar: I need to start listening to more ska. This is pretty good. >_>

Definitely get in on Streetlight Manifesto, Bomb the Music Industry!, Mad Caddies, No Doubt and some others that will come to me later if you're gonna get on the ska thing. I can recommend some good albums too

I've been digging Streetlight Manifesto since you first linked them. Somewhere in the Between is a great album. I'll have to check out those other bands.

Ska is fun. TT But I am so severely limited in exposure to that genre. All I know is ... Buck-O-Nine. And goddamn people on YouTube, there's next to no vids for the group.
There's like all of 3 different songs on the site. :P

You guys talked about Italian music without mentioning Osanna? What are you? edit: what is the name of that Japanese music that you linked to Winterfury? Another Italian music, that I just remembered, and that you all should find cool: Teeheehee

I love how addicting their music can be with very few, semi-repetitive lyrics. I've always loved Eiffel 65, how can I not?
