I know just what you mean. The soundtrack on the DS is okay, but it just doesn't feel nearly as awesome as the NES version or even the Dissidia versions of the music. Even the aesthetic didn't feel 100% right to me, since they were trying to translate the 2D sprites to 3D accurately. In doing so, we have a game that looks awkwardly cute while its soundtrack tries to set a dark mood, so it feels pretty unbalanced. If it were a remake more in the vein of I & II Dawn of Souls, I'd probably have been more into it.
I think III just has some awkward dungeons anyway. (Like when you're required to cast toad/mini on your party)

Considering I make a lot of dumb decisions, nobody shall be surprised. I keep making dumb decisions that limit my options... so I'm about to do something dangerous, stupid, and scary, potentially even life-threatening to expand my options.
Wish me luck. I'm going to need lots and lots of it.

Thank you! I'm going to potentially move in with people I've never met before, with scarce written and verbal communication. It's pretty risky, reckless and dangerous. I don't know what to expect, I'm pretty nervous -- but if it turns out they're good, safe people who will help me get on my feet again, it will be worth it.

Hopefully it doesn't turn into a scene from a horror movie where you're fighting for your life to escape from a family of cannibals jk I wish you luck my friend.

Every time I make an effort to go out, I always get lazy or bored and end up going nowhere. I was going to go out to a coffee shop to just sit and maybe write for a while... but noooo. Ended up playing with the cat inside the warm house instead.
New Year's in T-48minutes, Japan time. Can't even watch Kohaku because my stupid apartment has no TV antenna or even offer digital services. I hate this place sooo much but can't move because you need at least $4000 up front for a new place. o.O Wonder if I can get a loan for that....?

Don't give up! I wonder if the Post Office lost those packages. That would suck.

I tried calling the USPS using the tracking # for yours, and it said information is not available. Also, someone in my own state hasn't received theirs yet, that was sent on the 19th.

Sorry for the weird Adol sketch, it was a last minute idea. Awesome! Maybe Tran will receive hers now after all!

I'm having one of those days where I feel a mix of negative emotions. I am afraid of my actions. I have what I've always wanted in life, yet what makes me happy can also be the end of me. It's been awhile since I've felt fear, uncertainty, sadness, despair. But I guess it also means I should probably man up and stop acting like a scared little kid.

Fear is normal. It's human. Things will get better; it's statistically inevitable. I'm not sure what makes you happy, but if it's the same "thing" that makes me happy -- Trust is a powerful weapon, and is a major key factor when it comes to matters of the heart. It can be a scary thing sometimes, but if it's right, you will know that you have nothing to fear. Use it wisely, and use it well.
Of course, I can't pretend to know what you're talking about, I'm just giving you my best guess with hope that it will be of help. Just know that many members here are good to PM if there is something you wish to discuss. Sometimes it helps to clear the air and express your troubles.

We are the same, then, I don't like to go out my house, if it is not for something necessary. I've got a new hobby, Hamas are awesome. ^^

Sounds like we're on the same page. My situation is complicated but it's manageable for the time being. I think as an individual, I'm tired of being afraid, feeling fear. I believe it's this attitude that's always held me back in life, never able to to fully engage in what I wanted to do, that needs to change. I'm feeling better this morning.

I think that is happen to me, too.
Example: I want to make my comic, but I think something slow down me, because I have the fear, first, to people dislike it, second, to be popular (thing that I'd never wanted to be).

That goes double if you have "doom and gloom" syndrome like I. For instance, I've always been afraid that either I would die, or the world would end before I did something worthwhile -- like finishing projects, being a father and a husband, and in general just being a responsible, capable human being. Living every day like you're going to die isn't the way to go. So knowing what you do, and fearing what you may, should motivate you all the more to move forward and take control of your life.

Why study abroad when a broad can study you?
