Totally, lol! A couple years of celibacy will do that.

Sometimes I wonder how pets would treat us if the roles were reversed. By which I mean, what if we had to rely on them to take care of us? Would they treat us well? Would they give us the amount of attention they typically desire from us? Or would they just straight up neglect their duties (especially in the case of cats, IMO =p)? Obviously this would vary depending on the pet and their upbringing (what type of personality and mindset they have), but it's something interesting to think about.

I'm out of shape big time and it's not a good feeling. I helped my friend get a load of wood for the winter, we didn't have a chainsaw so we looked for dead trees to pull out of the bush and load unto the back of the truck. We chopped down two small trees with an axe, which nearly killed me. I was so exhuasted I felt like I was going to die. I'm really going to feel it tomorrow. I'm getting too old.

I'm finally getting back on track. It's been a long time coming. The bad news? I don't think I'll have access to my projects for a while, or even ALoY. When I come back to ALoY depends entirely on how things go.

This place doesn't seem very lively as of late, but the S-spam thread lives on.

Why, of course. I wish I had the time to go insane over here like before. Busy life these days. Have so much I wanna do here, like get the YsOL private server working, and finally finish emulating Ys stuff and whatnot, gather everyone to dig up as much info as possible on the mobile Ys games and so on. WE CREATE LIFE. In a forum. "The power is yours."

I'm trying to figure out the mentality of the players that go to the "online part" of Animal Crossing: New Leaf (re: Club Tortimer). My first few experiences there were fine. Got to chat with some nice folks and then said "bye" and we went our separate ways. WHINEFEST PART 1:Not long ago, I came across some UK folks which I thought was neat since, for the longest time, everyone I spoke to was from the US. After some talking, I exchanged friend codes with them. (They asked first. I have never asked anyone for their FC till this date.) Just to be anal and paranoid, I laid out some simple rules about visiting my town via Swapnotes. Unfortunately, it seemed that, to them, flowers wasn't a part of the "please don't take anything without asking" bit. Basically, one of them ran off with some hybrid flowers from my town when they visited. =__= It's not so much what was stolen (since the flowers will regrow over time and I can probably get some from other friends) but rather, just the fact that something was taken without permission. Sadly, from what I'm gathering from various people, it seems that fruits and flowers are automatic fair game for taking in EVERYONE'S town. I really don't think this should be the case and that general courtesy and etiquette should still apply. :/ WHINEFEST PART 2:What is it with people asking for friends codes BEFORE chatting with them a bit? It's like immediately asking someone you just met for their phone number. Here's what happened today: *enters visitors' area on the island* Other player: "Hi" Me: "Hello~" Other player: "What's your friend code?" Me: "Sorry, I don't add people I don't know." I can't remember if he pressed on the issue but he did the EXACT same thing to another player that showed up about a minute later. I left after that. I sort of wish I remember to put him on the "blacklist" though. Honestly, I pretty much only go to Club Tortimer to see what's on sale at the souvenir shop. If someone's there and they want to chat and/or go on tours then that's cool too. However, I get the feeling that there are many that sit around at the Club to try and fish friend codes from players for whatever reason. Maybe they legitimately WANT new friends but I have a suspicion that there are a few that have ulterior motives. :\

Yeah. The one time I tried Club Tortimer, it was just me and one other person giving me their friend code out of the blue, expecting me to reciprocate. <_< No thank you!
(Also, hi everyone! I kinda forgot about this place. ._.)

I've been bored these past few days and decided to try dual boot Windows 7 and Windows XP... FAIL! I have an Acer Aspire One notebook with Windows 7 installed, creating a bootable USB with Windows XP was a real pain, and when I finally got it working, it didn't install correctly, kept had errors coming up but it did install, so now I'm running Windows XP but it's only bootable from my USB for some strange reason, and Windows 7 no longer starts up, it's still there as I didn't overwrite it, I created another harddisk partition and installed Windows XP on it, the Idea was to be able to choose between either platform during startup, but it's a real pain and I decided to just leave it. Closest I got was running Windows XP, but having to boot it from a USB, and no longer able to access Windows 7, what a pain.

I've given up... I'm pretty sure I can pull it off I had a cd drive but all this usb stuff gave me a headache, anyways, I was really just in it to say yeah, I got xp running on my computer too, alone with windows 7, but I probably would have never used xp though.

So I'm playing Bravely Default, and this is all I can think of every time Agnés says unacceptable:
Also, I'm pretty sure Ringabel's book is just the strategy guide for the game.

How cool would it be for Falcom to be called by Square Enix to work on their next Mana / Seiken Densetsu and Xeno titles, if ever? Gotta finish 100% Ys OiF (PSP), missing Inferno diff. Oh, Ys 7...
