I wish I wasn't such an angry and depressed person sometimes.
Also, I think most of the issues people return PSPs for are very minor. I mean, come on, every piece of hardware is going to have a flaw no matter what, and if it doesn't prevent you from playing a game, I don't see why it should be such a big problem (unless you have crippling OCD or something, in which case, why are you a gamer in the first place?)
My PSP has more problems than all of Justin's combined, but I still use it. It still boots and plays games perfectly. Few of the issues hamper gameplay, and there are very easy solutions for them anyway.

Hihi Yakra~ That has got to be the laziest case of stigmata ever. So, much to my chagrin, my lethargic case of stigmata resurfaced. Got a fairly nice cut along my right arm again, which has scabbed over (mkeaning it drew blood again), and this time it was on a night after I had trimmed my nails of all whites and I was in a different bed, in a different house. ThefuckWHAT. I am so confuse. :/

Just because you've got lower standards for what you consider worth your money doesn't mean Justin should have too Seriously, when you spend a lot of money on a piece of electronics you expect a certain degree of quality. All the flaws Justin described are just an example of pisspoor assembly, probably by some underpaid children in a Chinese factory somewhere. If people stop caring about the kind of flaws those PSPs had and companies think they can get away with it, it's only going to go down. Hell, we already have people who've gone through four or more Xbox 360s who insist that 'well at least their support is good, I don't know what people are complaining about'.

My problem actually PREVENTED me from playing with my PSP. Even after Lunar arrived, brand fucking new. :\ I couldn't charge the battery, and I couldn't run it off of the AC adapter, couldn't do anything with it because the battery was dead. So I tried to replace the power socket, and it fucked up even WORSE somehow.

ThefuckWHAT. I am so confuse. :/ Dood, that's frickin' creepy. Do you have cats? Sometimes when I pick up mine I get scratches on my arms which I don't notice till hours later. If not, you may want to visit a doctor. The odds of you having DID are practically nill, but fugue's and sleepwalking are -surprisingly- common. You especially want to get checked out if you ever 'lose time' or if some of your memories are kind of hazy (like uncertainty over whether something happened in a dream or in real life). Or maybe you just have a crazy girlfriend who cuts you while you sleep. Who here hasn't been there, right? . . . . . . Oh. Just me, huh?

Oh no, I hope I don't seem like I'm trying to draw all attention to me. This thread is for any and everything! But yeah, the cat thing is a possibility. We kindasorta temporarily inherited one here not too long ago, but I actually house alot of disdain for this particular cat and don't have much to do with it. I sleep with my door shut and it's never in here, and for the most part I don't go out of my way to make it happy unless it decide to plop down next to me. I mean, I guess the last one could have just come from the cat and I may not have noticed it 'til monday morning. I do try to pick the bastard up on a rare occasion. No sense in ruling that out... still makes me wonder about the two I've had on my face though. Maybe we shall see what happens when that catbastard is gone. Horrid little thing is in heat right now and it's so annoying I want to kick it. If it still happens then... well, then I probably have a problem that needs addressed!

So many welcomes... Thank ye. :'D (I... wasn't away that long, was I? ) I see Fai is posting more too! (Me? Cheerful? My first post is a post full of postman-gwars! Now Fai's on the otherhand are cheerful!) Anyways~ Yakra? Which type of inky-ink should I get? I've never really tried inking so I'd like to know the best route to go, for stuff like Tsutomu Nisei-ish (super dark and dripping with style). I wouldn't really know what exactly to advise? :'D I myself usually like to ink my paintings - those that need inking atleast - with liquid acrylic and a brush. Sometimes, if I feel like doing rough quickies, I pull out the felt tip pen (a nice cheapo 0.1 Simbalion one) and combine it with me markers. But.... the pen feels toooo rough? :'D Also feels not as long lasting. (And lastly, for some of the more refined stuffs, like the one's I was working on right now, I pretty much ink with the watercolours, before starting to apply the paint!) Um... out of all the inks though, I like indian ink. Used to use that a lot before I discovered the wonders of black, liquid acrylic! (I still sketch on loose papers, by the way. X'D I LOVE collecting sketchbooks! *___* ...But somehow never end up using them. :'D *shot*) Also! Ashurei problem is freaky! Could ye possibly be accidentally scratching yourself in your sleep or something? o___O I did that to myself once. I.... accidentally scratched me own legs for a while. Until I went off and cut me nails. (Or some odd scratchy bug? ?)

WHEE! Yakra is back! Welcome! :DDDDDD
Completely unrelated: An example of above average voice acting in games is Jack Black in Brutal Legend. d00de is awesome in it. :D
Hirm! I just noticed that widdle remark that Smithee made! I am indeed a :D person usually but the slightest thing can set me off into an >:E direction ... such as stupid drivers!
There needs to be a game where all you do is go after idiot drivers so you can kill them in a multitude of ways!! >:(!!!
Justin: You have severely bad luck with your PSPs! o_O!!! With the except of my 1000 and its dead pixel, my other two are spiffy.
Maybe you should ask other people to buy you PSPs and see if that makes a difference? XD

Well, I'm working out a plan with a friend to buy his 2000, which has a good screen. I'll use that one while I'm out, and then use the 3000 for home use.

ZOMBIE PSP. Yes. I have made a monster. Apparently, I can use my PS2 controller, hook up the PSP to the laptop via RemoteJoyLite (so I can see what I'm doing), oh, and the battery doesn't like to hold a position for long; it'll screw up the moment someone stomps too hard. What this MEANS, though, is that I might... be able to play games on my PSP. Without buttons or a screen! XD I'm a madman! ...I should upload pictures sometime. While I've decimated just about every inch of the fucking thing... I finally got everything else to work right. X)

Alright, I have a question. What's a good alternative to foam rubber? I need something that will keep pressure in the battery compartment of my PSP, because it's not tight enough. I just don't see wrapping tape around it all ghetto-like and sticking a hard plastic/rubber piece in there that could puncture the battery (though that's what I initially did). Otherwise, my PC-only handheld-turned-console Zombie PSP is repaired. Yeah, it may look like shit, but at least I can use it now. The last thing I had to fix? The joystick. Apparently, if you remove the joystick and all relevant pieces, it'll be set to a "down-right" position. So I put it back in, no harm, no foul. (The alternative was using a PRX to change the neutral position, and I didn't bother because I don't *need* another PRX.)

hrm.. I wonder what this means, exactly: クリア周回を重ねるとクリアに必要なアイテムが見えなくなるなど、2周目から6周目にかけて難易度が上昇するため、どこまで続けられるかというやり込み要素も存在する。6周目以降は、6周目と同じ内容となるため、精神力・集中力との勝負となる。そして、256周目は1周目とほぼ同じだがカギが表示されず、257周目は1周目と全く同じになる。

That sounds like a challenge to me. If it can give me a good reason to beat it 257 times, I'd freaking buy it and WORSHIP IT. Nothing satisfies me more in a game than insane replay value.
... yeah, what game is it, anyway?

Whoa, speak of the devil... remember me talking about the George Clooney episode of American Dad, and describing it in great detail? Well, they just added it to Hulu for some reason! If you've never seen it, and you can access Hulu, I highly recommend checking it out! It's one of the best episodes of ANYTHING, EVER. www.hulu.com/watch/14017/american-dad-tears-of-a-clooney-Tom Hulu's so damn racist!

Hard to say exactly, since Proboards HATES JAPANESE, and leaves off like every 10th letter or so, replacing it with numbers and punctuation. Whoops. I didn't notice that when I copy, pasted, & posted the original. Thanks for the translation. It confirms that the text is as vague as I thought it was. That sounds like a challenge to me. If it can give me a good reason to beat it 257 times, I'd freaking buy it and WORSHIP IT. Nothing satisfies me more in a game than insane replay value. ... yeah, what game is it, anyway? Spelunker for the NES ;P I've made it up to the 6th loop/quest/cave and all the keys are gone from their original locations. The US wikipedia entry says they are entirely missing while the JP entry had that block of text. So far I've had no luck finding any online reference that talks about the 6th loop. All vids on Youtube stop at the end of the first and it took me a long time to find a reference on how to discover the keys in the 4th & 5th loops (use a where the key should be). It bugs me to no end that the game would just end by having no keys, especially when I noticed that the difficulty of the stage bothered to change at all (ghosts and steam vents are faster)

But you're right! Yakra was sorely missed indeed. She and Fai alike represent the voices of reason and primary sources of unbridled optimism and cheeriness on this board. When either of them are gone, it's just not the same around here! I'm not that cheery~! I spent most of my early teenage years being so gloomy that I think I depressed not only myself, but everyone in my immediate vicinity. Increasingly, though, I find it's just not worth the time to get angry or upset. I've had so many lovely experiences with some wonderful people over the last five or six years, and they've helped me to realise that life is far too much fun to be wasted moping around, and far too exciting to be ruined by the occasional off day. It might be a little childish or naive of me, but it doesn't seem like being mean or negative ever accomplishes a whole lot of anything. Endless optimism makes the bad times bearable and the good times better. Being miserable just makes you...well...miserable. ^_^ So many welcomes... Thank ye. :'D (I... wasn't away that long, was I? ) I see Fai is posting more too! (Me? Cheerful? My first post is a post full of postman-gwars! Now Fai's on the otherhand are cheerful!) On and off~! I'm a little busy with class right now. I did wonder where you had disappeared to, though. I'm really glad it wasn't anything too serious~! ^_^ And I'd say exactly the opposite, though you probably saw that coming. Still, the very fact that you used the phrase 'postman-gwars' in your post lends considerable weight to my argument.

Ya know, I find it kind of frustrating at times that a lot of people I know have completely different music tastes than me! I mean, sure, we may like some of the same songs but overall, we look at each other's music tastes and go, "Uh, no."
My boyfriend seems to like a lot of the weird-ass, goofy sounding music like Mini Mario BGM or some odd 4chan Christmas tune.
Otherwise though, if he plugs in his iPod and blares any of the 4chan music or YTMND compilations, I'm all good. XD Well, except the damn Chiyo (from Azumanga) tune.
(Ya know, I used to hate Yotsuba&! because I found the stupid hyperactive kid really annoying and kept insisting most 4(?)-year-olds weren't as dumb as her. However, in some of the later stories, she doesn't seem as much! I wonder if I'd feel the same about Azumanga (which I totally ignored and still continue to ignore).)
There was only one person who I knew many years ago, back on a local BBS (the dial-up kind, not an Internet forum) who liked a lot of stuff I like!!!
Man, I miss those days. :(
OH MY! I have over 4000 posts! DDDDDDD: I missed the milestone! TT!!
Ooh! Now I'm off to kill things!
