What exactly does this policy entail? I never read too much into it

While I was reading in my front lawn today some chick whistled at me as she drove by. This always puts me in a good mood for some reason.

Knowing someone finds you attractive is generally an uplifting thing. Plus, she thought so while you were reading! Some alternative observations of your intellectual interests aren't that great.

This might just be me, but... does it bother anyone else to be called "hon" by a random female? I went out to lunch today and my waitress called me that, and... it's not a big deal, really, and I didn't say anything about it, but it's just sort of rubs me the wrong way because it just seems like a term that -- at least when used between two people of the opposite sex -- implies being much closer than "guy eating lunch and a waitress he doesn't see often", at least to me.
I know that not everyone means it like that, but... well, if I went around calling random ladies "hon" while talking to them, it'd probably come across as kind of insulting, and I'd expect to be called out on it at some point... so why is it okay the other way around?

Because it's only "sexist" if a man says it. Just like it's only "racist" if a white person says it. It's a cowardly vice, nothing more. It's really hypocrisy at its finest. Mankind is a walking contradiction. Like I said before, you tell *me* when a white man sues a black woman for being sexist and racist. Just one time. I've never heard of ANY race that isn't white, being sued for racism. Just like I've never heard of a woman being sued for sexism. By the way, because I'm a white man, this post is officially both racist and sexist; and I didn't even say anything remotely offensive. I'm merely stating an obvious, however obnoxious and frightening truth. The LAW is racist and sexist, in that white men cannot sue for racism or sexism, ever -- just because of the color of our skin, and just because of our gender. One day, I'd like to sue this country for racism and sexism. It'd be awesome.

This might just be me, but... does it bother anyone else to be called "hon" by a random female? If it helps, I get offended too. X'D ...oh wait, I don't count, right? D: But really, I don't know if it's just the word, or... the way it sounds, or the meaning it implies, as you've said, but I HATE it if anyone calls out to me as 'Hon~'. :'D Not that I'd tell them that. X'D The person is usually being trying to be nice I'm sure. I think it's just one of those pet peeve words of mine, which might just rival the obnoxious levels of 'Yaar'. D: *goes a wee bit psychotic for no reason* Also, my random thought of the moment - it's funny how, when you look at your own city through something like wikimapia, it looks so odd and... foreign. Apparently there's some random mister who lives by the River Sohan and is known as the King of Sohan. Wonder if he actually is a king.....? X'''D

I'm drinking more, eating more crackers and cereal, cleaning it often, standing and walking more, and will take a warm bath tonight.
At least it's not too horrible yet.

I still need that game. Stupid bloody price. Waiting for it to go on sale. Or at least for some place to have some sale on PS3 games or video games in general. I should have took advantage of the Christmas sales last year. I mean, I knew I was going to buy a PS3 eventually. :B Random thoughts: Picked up My Japanese Coach again and I'm totally learning new things that I can never remember! This is what I get for not practicing at all! The verb stuff is completely frying my brain! Oh well! I just want to unlock the damn kanji lessons already. It's much more useful for me to see words in kanji than just in kana and romaji. >:E Also, that Haruka character is still pretty damn ugly. Well, it's not like I expected the graphics to suddenly change for the better but damn, why couldn't they have done a better render of a human? Hirm, if Haruka's so ugly, I wonder how the coach for the Chinese one looks?

Well, I'm glad that I'm not the only one, at least!
Yeah, I was about to say -- that sounds cooler and more impressive than my normal evenings, at least!

And all this was done on the XL!

I think I've reached that point in the semester where I've all but mentally checked out. I've never, NEVER, sat down to write a paper and had nothing come to me. Last night I just drew a blank for a couple hours and just let it go. My last minute writing tactic has never failed me, nor failed to yield an A. Today, we get a Super-F. Buh. :/
