I really wanted that, but I couldn't get it. I *hate* limited/collector's items when I'm broke! How does it sound?! Any different from the original?

From what I can tell so far, they didn't arrange anything differently, which is what I was hoping for. It still sounds like the N64, just much smoother and remastered. There is a noticeable difference in the sound quality over the original, and some songs seem to have some added percussion and more ambient effects, but I could be wrong about that, it's been a while since I listened to the OST, and I sold my original one.
It has 51 tracks.

EDIT: They added a new credits song, which they call "End Credits 2" which is a beautiful but short rendition of Zelda's Theme which turns into a medley (and features real instruments). I can't remember if it's on a previous Zelda arranged CD, and I don't know if it's newly created.

I'm still annoyed at Nintendo for not releasing a Smash Bros. Brawl OST, that had some great remixes on it!

Oh, it's out! And it's beautiful! Sorely tempted, even if the only Xian Jian game I've ever played is the first, and even if it'd probably run horribly on my laptop.

Ni no Kuni was that super amazing looking game in which Studio Ghibli had a hand in, no? I think now is the time that I shall sit and pull out my yearly woes of 'why can I not find the time (or patience?!) to just learn how to read Japanese?!' X'D I've been really hoping that this game gets localized in english, but looking at that book of yours~~~ eep! It is SO beautiful! *___* And even if it did get brought over in english, I doubt this would be offered along as a goodie, ne? T___T

It might still be localised! I think Level 5 have setup a Facebook page asking what game people want translated, but I avoid FB like the plague so I haven't seen it for myself

The book's more than just a neat extra too - everything in it is relevant to the game and can be used to help! If you look one of the photos shows a map on one of the pages, I'm sure I'll be referring it at some point

They've both got their problems :S

PL vs AA is going to require cooperation from Capcom, and Ni no Kuni's got the book and at least a licensing request to Studio Ghibli to go through.

They just opened their US branch, which is why they're now asking people what games they should localize. Last time I checked, "Professor Layton VS Ace Attorney" was in the lead with "Ni no Kuni" in the 2nd place.

Oooh! I did not know that! Serves me right for avoiding Facebook like a semi-plague! :'D But that is lovely news to hear! Some hope is better than no hope~!

Speaking of Professor Layton (and Ace Attorney!), I really ought to sit down and play those games too! Eitherway, it's super nice to hear Level-5 is opening a US branch! More chances for more Level-5 games!
