I wonder why you chose the name "Birds of a feather" As far as I can tell, it's a clever, poetic name sharing a double-meaning. It'd be like if I named a company "Drop and give me twenty productions" -- if you didn't realize my username was Maggot, it would make entirely no sense to anyone other than myself why I picked that name. I suppose you could call it a personal touch, or branding in a way. |

You can bypass the need for registering a trademark in the US by using your name (typically last) in the name of the company. Add on the idea of international unity et al and you have Birds of a Feather.

Just wanted to update here and say that any news/updates going forward will likely be done on the website as there is an avenue for conversation and presenting information there, and I'll even try to update on it semi-regularly, while trying to convince some of the other people to make updates too.

Well, I'm sorry. All I want to do is showing my concern over their progress, my interest in the game and my loyalty till the end. I don't think one post per month in a topic can be called bumping.
As I know in the past few years people has stop bugging them since there are not many people who know about this game. So I hope to keep this monthly routine while people tend to forget and loose their interest so quickly nowadays, I want them to know by the time the patch get released I'll be the one who play it.

If I may, there's never been a problem with bumping posts on ALoY; Necroposting is fair game here, anyone can do it. Though members have also checked on the well being of others publicly in the past, preferences and your mileage may vary.
If the translation team wishes, we will assist in any way needed to ensure that their topics are handled appropriately, including lock/unlock requests (an effective "do not disturb" sign), etc. We've assisted other translators in very much the same way.

A lot has happened lately and I have no idea how to approach it. Zwei 2 is not abandoned, but may be delayed simply due to life and unexpected events in conjunction with the small size of the team.
