Man, oh man.. I thought of making a reply before, but decided against it. Since bofgames.com/ finally made an announcement, I feel surprised there isn't (or weren't) any new posts in this thread. Or something about the Zwei games, anyway.. to March.. and Zwei... maybe. |

At this point I think that the Zwei II's translation has been bought by XSEED. It just fits the mysterious silence around the project.
The same goes with the original Zwei!!

the first time i know about this game recently : wow..!! >.< but,,, unfortunately it still using japan language.. thx to Tancients (and of course for all the team) who never stop to translate this game into english.. hope it will be completed soon.. |

Well, I already own the games so a patch would be preferable to me, but even if I did have patches for them, I'd most likely buy them again over Steam to support this project and Falcom. Besides that would mean that it would give more people the opportunity to easily access and play it legally. -Thomas |

I'd buy and play the crap outta the games if they got Steam releases, though.

If XSEED really bought the translation, the question is why BoF or tancients keep hiding it, at least they could have told us about that. Are they afraid of something?

I doubt it has anything to do with fear. If this is what happened I would bet they are under a non disclosure agreement (NDA) until xseed announces it themselves. |

Exactly. If BOF isn't under NDA they would have been more open to us about the status of Zwei. However it's been very vague and secretive. It fits all the criteria for a script buyout. And honestly I wouldn't blame them for selling it either. Takes time to translate games and if you can make a couple of dollars out of it, might as well. |

She might get a better response if she could list what specifically she needs help with to determine the skill level or familiarity required for the remainder of the project. I mean take for example, I'm a web designer and I can read the code of a website and design sites without much issue, but when you blend all of that with new web-applications, databases, front-end/back-end software and high-powered languages like PHP, I'm not able to really do that. Anyhow, this might get more attention if she can identify what she specifically needs. -Thomas |

Since the running rumor is that xseed bought the script from Tancients I doubt he is looking to get ripped off by them again. Here is the post jakeslogan is talking about. There is nothing there to suggest to me that this is even for Zwei 2. I think she needs to be a bit more forthcoming with info. If it is for Zwei 2 why isn't zzblue still working on it? I wish her luck though. |

It is and it isn't. I threw it up there in a rush since I've been swamped with my other job lately. ZZblue had some things that took him out of the picture for a while, but he's been back and we're wrapping up and taking care of things as far as Zwei 2 is concerned. Can't make anything official yet, but yeah. I'm sure some people want to throw us under the bus at this point, but it is what it is.
