Doesn't seem like there's alternate -costumes-, sadly, but there are alternate colors. Also, I have no idea how Loewe is unlocked, lul. But man, is he a bitch to fight in story mode. So far I've beaten story mode with Klose and have only unlocked Elk. Guess I need to play more, haha!

I'd be extremely disappointed if Lowe didn't kick your ass in this game, so it seems Falcom's done the only right thing there.

He has the most overpowered EX skill in the game and some really freaking powerful skills. Unlike Klose, who has fantastic standard attacks but only... two good skills. Although her EX nuke is great.

Playing with Adol for a bit, it looks like he got his old 6-hit combo from Felghana back. Yay!
Also, using him made me realize just how underpowered Klose is. Shame on you, Falcom!

You think you have it bad, I've got to skip town suddenly so the post office is going to have to hold my copy in the mail until I can get back... in three weeks. Clearly I've been neglecting my prayers to Eidos, Feena and Reah. So look on the bright side, there's at least one person here you'll definitely get your package before.

I'm using UPS to have it delivered... it's sitting right now in a town 20 minutes away, but they don't do deliveries on weekends. Worse yet, in-store/warhouse pick-ups are only available on weekdays as well. My poor copy has to sit in the dark by itself all weekend; I want to rescue it so badly but can't. |

Mine showed up today. Go FedEx!  I'm glad my friend questioning my Falcom fandom was enough to sway me to buy this. Having lots of fun, playing as Tita for the first go. I'm not yet sure if I'm basically signing myself up for hard mode by doing so, though; I might switch to Estelle if grinding doesn't get me anywhere against the first boss. <3 the voice acting in this game. Quality stuff, that! Tita is turbocute, I loveitloveit.  And the MUSIC WOAH. I mean, I know it's Falcom, but when the game started and I heard the Xanadu forest music, I was pretty impressed. I don't even care that it's recycled, hahaha. |

Tita's always been 'turbocute', even before they added voice work. It's pretty much been a running gag how darn cute she is. I think Anelace blew a few fuses when they met.
Anyhow, question for anyone who's played. I've heard some people complain about walking through walls and falling off the map. Inconceivable lapse on Falcom's part or really funny antipiracy measure?

In an effort to create an online AS community I made an irc channel on rizon: #alternativesaga in case anyone is trying to get xlink set up or needs help or wants to play.
Normally I idle in #eidenyaku too, but I figure making an exclusive channel might help bring the multiplayer together.
I still haven't been able to get anyone to try it with me, so I'm not even sure xlink works, but there it is... I'll be willing to play all day.
