Yeah and of all the songs, they chose one that they basically revealed all of in the preview video.

My ears. They are crying tears of joy God this guy really cannot do a good rip for shit. Crackling everywhere. It's pretty good, although I'll be honest - I prefer the original. Will listen more when I have a copy that isn't 50% crackles though.

yeah i mean this totally makes it 200% better than a non-shitty sounding version.
Also I like this arrange more than the original. 3:58 and 4:16 were just orgasmic.

I like the arrange better than the original as well. It's... really, REALLY good. But then, I was never as fond of the original as the rest of you. -Tom It's my favourite track in the game so... yeah. My problem with it is mostly the violin though. 4:15 - 4:30 is the worst offender. I haven't liked Falcom's sudden love of the violin since they started it and I like it even less thrust into previously god tier guitar tracks! The more I listen the more I like the new version, but there's no matching the awesomeness that is the original for me. 3 minutes of high speed awesome.

The violin is possibly my favorite instrument of all time, and I consider adding violins to their usually guitar-heavy rock tracks one of the best decisions Falcom's ever made. Violins and rock go together like chocolate and peanut butter. -Tom We will have to respectfully agree to disagree on this matter! I don't mind them in slower, softer tracks (Grandia 2's 'Despair and Hope' is still one of my favourite sad tracks ever), but I'd prefer they were kept out of the rock tracks. It doesn't ruin them or anything, just makes them... not as good as they would be. I don't like peanut butter either though

That song gave me so much energy when working on the font/going for a run earlier. It's making me really crave that possible PS3 version of Ys Seven!
Also look what else has surfaced

Haha, wow, not a fan of Falcom Classics? I would have embedded the video into my text box, but that's one of those few things I still haven't bothered learning how to do.
