Maybe I'm just old fashioned that way but being a musical elitist about free Youtube links of a song seems pretty silly imo

I think it's more a case of him not wanting to experience the song for the first time in shitty quality. Which I can totally get behind.

Also, for some reason they cut the beginning off. I can't figure that part out.

What Wyrd said, to the nth degree. What matters is the composition and instrumentation, sound quality is just a nice bonus. Do you know how many great demos have been released by people recording scratch tracks in their garages, without time for knowledge for production? Now I love me some good production (especially if Jacob Hansen, aka GOD, is involved), but production means nothing if the music is shit.

I've been patiently waiting for one of the import companies to pick up this CD for sale, but the sites I've looked at have given me no such luck. Does anyone know a site that's selling it so I don't have to import it, or are people just buying directly from Falcom.
I'm getting a little bit antsy and $25 shipping is sounding less and less bad.

Well, I just confirmed my order with Falcom. I guess I'll put it on youtube when it comes, if no one's objectional to that... can't imagine why anyone would! That way the actual soundtrack will be up, not just like 4 songs.

I would be fine with that because my copy apparently actually hasn't come yet at all!

Just received my copy today. An incredible album. JDK topped themselves again. I would love them to someday do an entire soundtrack at this quality, though I realize it would be quite an endeavor.

Fuck it, I'm tired of waiting. How do you buy from the Japanese iTunes store?

Similar to buying games from JP psn. You need to get a jp itunes gift card. I know there are other sites other than ebay to get them.

So in other words, download it. You got a legit copy coming anyway, so there there's no harm in it. And this way you won't waste money needlessly.

Yeah... it sounds like it would take just as long for an iTunes gift card to get here as the actual CD.

Yeah, interestingly, that's one of those few cases where I don't think anyone cares if you download it free-like.
I finally got a message in the email saying they are going to ship it today.

Ahh, it would be so much easier if you could pay for iTunes JP without needing a Japanese credit card or a separately purchased giftcard. They've pretty much got Falcom's entire library (including preorder exclusives and all the OOP stuff) too...

Ouch I don't know what's worse: The mark up, the weak USD to JPY, or that they're selling PSN points and I could use some JP PSP2 DLC (since I know I'll be able to keep it in PSP2i)
