.....And with the way things are going, I probably won't be able to start until the 14th. D: (I ended up getting a deadline of the 15th for my actual 'work' painting. X'D)

Aw, no worries, Yakra. I'm sure anything you crank out at the last minute will still be beautiful. Actual work comes before this anyway.  Falcom isn't going to feed you. It's sort of neat to see how everyone's got different methods about how they approach their art and the mediums they choose, though. |

I'm very ambitious in my art. Problem is I overthink it before starting and burn out or realize I can't actually do it. My biggest hurdles are my own brain and spontaneous lack of confidence.

OK I'm done! I'm pretty psyched about this. The whole process has re-invigorated me drawing wise. Can't wait to see what everyone else has done. Go ALoY!
My first two ideas were too ambitious, so I had to scale things back.

Mine is slapdash, because homework takes precedence over fun right now, buuuuuuuuut.... it's not too bad, I think. Hey, maybe if this takes off, we could make it a regular kind of thing. Do a theme each month or something, just for fun. |

Don't have to restrict the themes to falcom methinks, even if it is a falcom board. We'd have more options and variety this way.

Yay~! It's the day. X'D I'd been SUPER curious to see what ye all came up with. I love love what Gamemusicfreak and Kimimi have come up with so far. :'D Considering how I read in the earlier posts that you were 'scaling back', Gamemusicfreak, I wonder WHAT you were attempting before that was even more ambitious. This is... super grand.  And I love how ye've actually used proper charcoals (ne?!) for this, Kimimi. You are good at anatomy stuff! Me loves~! *___* Also~! Thanks for your comments Kimimi and Yakra! WOWW!! Beautiful works you two! May I save these in a folder, for future inspiration? I've never attempted anything like what you have done Kimimi, it's fantastic! Yakra, that is wonderfully amazing! And you made me laugh! Thanks! Yakra - I had to scale back big time. My first attempt wasn't Ys, but a total re-imagining of another Falcom game completely. When I realized what I would have to do in order to complete it, the time to do it just wasn't there. I'll finish it soon though. I made an edit to see the complete BG in mine. You'll see Dogi, Lilia, and Karna better. |

Will you all kill me if I have to post mine tomorrow? I can't get back home until then and without a scanner I'm sorta out of luck as far as uploading goes.
The plan was to be back from Florida today, but stuff happened and delays and crap.
