Umm.. yeah. That second disc to EMPRESS is 90% of all those old revival songs you mentioned so I figured you knew. It's kinda like a greatest hits that Konami still owns the rights to and hasn't had a major falling out with the artist disc. I do no research when it comes to Bemani stuff. :D I just JR or buy and play! Then when I get curious about things, I ask questions or look for info at Bemanistyle. Well, usually, it's the latter first. I'm more interested in DJMax as I started with that series first plus it's easier to get into and my accuracy grade in that is typically an A- or A as opposed to IIDX's damn C's. XD (Actually, I lie. I think my first rhythm game was Dance Dance Revolution at the arcade.) I think you can slip those plastic mat thingies (like for drawers where you put cutlery ^^) under it to stop it from moving though. Muu~~

It's a shame it wasn't like the wooden box sent out during the marketing of Dante's Inferno that kept playing Never Gonna Give You Up until the journalist used the included hammer to smash the box to pieces.

It's a shame it wasn't like the wooden box sent out during the marketing of Dante's Inferno that kept playing Never Gonna Give You Up until the journalist used the included hammer to smash the box to pieces. That'd be frightening. X__x Also, that Piano Collections isn't even worth it (not that I got it for that). 4 freakin' tracks only. .__________. Hot Tunes really had a tame limited edition. I guess it's cuz it's a repackaging of an existing game. Here's hoping that DJMax Portable 3 LE is better than this. Also, I've always been wondering but Ask to Wind Japanese version ... does it actually sound like a Korean person speaking Japanese? There's something weird about the way she pronounces the words -- sort of like they're too ... distinct (probably not the word I want)? Then again, I'm not a native JP speaker so it's probably just my mind thinking this. XD

Holy crap.
Currently trying to do some combo unlocks in DJMax Portable Hot Tunes and they REALLY cut down on the grinding needed to unlock images!
Around the 4000 combo mark, I unlocked about 5 images in a row -- like, after I finished the song, the window with the unlock notice popped up 5 times in succession.
I'm up to 6480 combo at the moment and I'm still unlocking nothing but images.
Fucking Pentavision. Give me other stuff like avatars already. >__________________>
........
Combo at 9696 and I think I've gotten AT LEAST 12 images. I think I did get a new gear and mission at level 20 though so that broke the monotony but geezus ...
24300+ and counting -- STILL nothing but images. Pentavision sucks hardcore. I don't care about the stinkin' images, goddammit!!!!! >:(!!!!

OMG. Changing the PSP to the Japanese setting changes the button mapping back to O for confirming and X for cancel. Does this work for North American games too? ^^;
The in-game menus are in Japanese too! (And for the longest time, I kept wondering why the game is considered to be catered to them if it was only in English and Korean. :P)

U. FU. FU. FU.
Look at the way I play! I can't even win against the AI like this! (Too many Greats. >____>;;;;;;)
Oh, I left the giant black border in since things got too blurry if I cropped them out and increased the play area size. :/
Also! LOTS BAD!

And just hooking it directly to your computer, or what? Hooked to a switchbox (with Wii, PS2, and PS3) that is outputting in S-Video to the GameBridge which is hooked up via USB to the computer. :3 Oh yeah, I use VirtualDub to record.

GameBridge, eh? Will have to look into this GameBridge... Warnings~!!! - Works best in XP. Does not work in Windows 7 but sort of works in Vista. Not sure if it works in 64-bit though.
- S-Video is the highest quality you will get.
- Item is out of print/no longer supported by whatever company that made it. (Forgot their name, too lazy to Google.)
- Video quality is not superb!

D'oh! I just realized that your solution wouldn't work for me, since I only own a PSP-2000, not 3000, and the 2000 can't output PSP game footage via anything but component. :( Looks like it's time to hack your PSP so you can use RemoteJoyLite. Heheheheh.

DJ MAX Portable 3 has gone up for pre-order at bemanistyle. Apparently there are only 1000 LEs and 5000 regular editions being released in the US
The LE seems overpriced... $70 more dollars over the regular edition just for a soundtrack, art book, different box, and entry into a contest where you have barely less than a 1 in 2 chance to win something (most likely something you already have or can't use, to boot) seems incredibly steep, even if you try to justify it as helping the company
...then I saw that the news hit Kotaku and panicked, ordering the LE instead of thinking about it and having it sell out. Oh well, I guess I wasted more money on music games before like that time I bought the DJ Hero Renegade Edition at launch for full price...
