So I finished the game (main quest) in about 11h, got a D grade for all except skills (cause I got to get them all 42 and got S grade ^_^) and got overall Veteran lv7. Now, the question is, how do I access the world of the dead bonus dungeon ? After the cinematic and grades, there were no pop up option to save or anything, and when I load my save just before the end boss, there is nothing special to notice ... BTW is there anyway to have an armor similar in looks to this one (supposed to be the BattleSuit armor in faxanadu), cause the last available in shop IS the BattleSuit Armor and its look is not quite the same: I saw here www.gamefaqs.com/pc/930337-xanadu-next/faqs/45513 that there is a Silver Armour ingame, maybe that's the skin I'm looking for (as the Full Plate Armor is quite similar to the one in Faxanadu for exemple) , but it's not found in the shop, and it's not found in World of the Dead too Well main issue here is to get to World of the Dead first

Go to the beginning of Castle Strangerock, go straight up the stairs, and jump into the warp point that should now be visible. Oh, and good luck -- everything else to this point was VERY easy by comparison!

Yaaaaaay brilliant XD got a couple of other things to do first but can't wait to get cracking on this. Thanks sooo much guys. Hyunckel: I'm the author of that guide, but I wrote it quite a long time ago. There is quite a bit of missing info, I'm afraid - some of it was given to me by another person who I've now lost touch with, and he may have found the Silver Armour and told me about it. But off the top of my head I can't remember sorry!

A check of this guide says that the Silver Armor is the last thing you can buy from Agnes, if you've purchased everything she's offered you over the course of the game. I didn't get it myself when I played in Japanese and I haven't had time to correct that lack with the patch so I can't tell you if it's got the skin you want but at least you'll know what to look for.

ah thank you two! Nice to see the author of the faq roaming around here I've switched to Skyrim since two days ago, but I'l try to find Agnes to see if she offers me to buy it. Last thing I bought from her was the persona, er, I mean the guardian, from the phoenix item you know. Other times she offered only a black onyx so I didn't buy it. Dunno where I should try to find her though. I remember for the guardian card, she never appeared in the woods for exemple; so I had to find her in Xanadu Labyrinth ... Maybe her spawning is just random though.

Wyrdwad try the framerate at medium. My notebook can't hack smooth and rough is unplayable, but medium produces smooth gameplay. @doppi & the rest of the team, thank you once again for all of your hard work.

Agnes appears when you kill *all* of the enemies on a screen where she usually appears. After killing all of the enemies, just refresh; leave the screen and come back.

I have a question that may have already been answered but...
Does the translation support the patch that adds a new dungeon to the game? And could I install that patch AFTER I installed the translation?

Foffy: Yes, it does.
Shadowserg: After beating the game (IIRC), enter Castle Strangerock (front entrance), go up the stairs, and leap into the warp area.

How do I know if I installed the updated patch correctly?

You are incorrect. You can access it either way -- or at least, I can.
// The warp is located inbetween the break. It's low enough to jump onto from the lower bit, and high enough to jump onto from the higher bit.

*nods*
I did discover something VERY cool about Xanadu Next during testing, as well. Did you know that if you experienced a power outage or a crash in the middle of gameplay, you can load an interrupt save?
Unfortunately, this doesn't work well with the bonus dungeon, due to its random nature -- you'll get stuck in a room that you have to exit via the Pendant / Black Onyx. Falcom didn't bother to fix it.

ah thank you two! Nice to see the author of the FAQ roaming around here It's a nice place to lurk IIRC you don't need to complete the main game to enter the World of the Dead. It opens up just before fighting the last boss.

I can't devote as much time as I went to playing Xanadu Next, but I'm having a lot of fun when I do. Leveling seems a bit of a grind, but the power boost from each level gain is significant enough to make it worth it.

Hi All,
I was wondering if someone could help me. I went onto Falcom's site to buy Xanadu (now that i can enjoy it in englsh!) and used google translate on it.
This might be a translation error but the version they have for sale now says
"only supports 64bit Windows 7/Vista/XP"
I don't have a 64 bit OS and was wondering why they don't have a 32 bit version anymore!! Has anyone bought this recently or can confirm it only works on 64 bit?
Thanks!

Yes that is the one!
Thanks for confirming - falcom's site is the only place I've been able to find this as playasia are out of stock.
I have to send them an email to ask if they will post this to me and how much it will be.
Have you ordered direct from them before are they any good?
Thanks!
